6 years later and you sir are still saving student's lives! It's my last year of HS and here in my country, this year we choose what subjects we want to study... choosing physics for me has been hell until now that I have discovered your videos. I've done my lab research on friction coefficent and took a perfect score just because of your videos!! And now I am finally able to understand the free body diagrams! I'm sure I'm gonna do amazing in physics just because of you!! Honestly I love your videos ! ❤ They have motivated me to learn again because they give me the cozy vibes I'm not able to get in class, such as the student interacting. THANK YOU SO MUCH !
Your videos are absolutely great and helpful! I will tell all my friends about your channel, because after watching about 3 videos, I am convinced that this is the best Physics channel I have come across :) Great job!
+Ishaanee Didwania Thank you for your kind words. And yes, please tell all your friends. These videos represent a lot of time, effort and love on my part. 😊
Greetings from Brazil! Sir, I'd like to thank you for all the effort on putting together this amazing series of videos. You must be some kind of genius! Most impressive channel I've seen so far...
in start it's very hard to do it sometimes receive nothing but once you get going no won't be able to beat you ... so don't worry about you receiving keep doing JUST DO IT..i am with you always
Since I first saw one of your vids, I can't help but search lessons within your channel. I just really want to thank you for all your help! (And I really took effort to sign in to yt lmao just bc you are really great!) P.S I thought the girl was your sibling at first, tbh
noble KROWN Sadly, I don't know the answer to your question. However, I did recently enter Khan Academy's Talent Search, so who knows? www.khanacademy.org/talentsearch
Brilliant and funny and fun. Never thought I'd say that about flipping physics. You should widen your circle of friends though, you're like a bunch of clones.
Thanks, Mr. P, for helping me pass the AP Physics 1 exam (I got a 4). I'm now moving onto Physics C Mechanics and E&M next year. Will you be posting any videos for Physics C, or do the videos on your website cover all the topics already?
Matthew Cortez Congrats on your 4 on AP Physics 1! I have many review and test solution AP Physics C videos (both Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism). I also have every in-class lecture I ever gave in both my AP Physics C classes (along with lecture notes). All of these are posted at www.flippingphysics.com/calculus.html Currently I am concentrating on AP Physics 1 and do not have plans to do more AP Physics C videos till after I have completed the entire AP Physics 1 curriculum.
What books do you recommend for practice problems? I am using fundamentals of physics, but there are many assumptions or required (but not included) information in many of the problems that I wind up getting very frustrated. (assumptions as in they say, in the solution, "we assume X" without putting it in the problem that they assumed it.)
Basic vector components: www.flippingphysics.com/vector-components.html An example problem with force components: www.flippingphysics.com/three-force-example.html Force components on an incline: www.flippingphysics.com/incline-components.html
Perhaps you are asking "What does it mean to be a component of a vector?" If that is your question, the answer is the "components of a vector" add up to the vector. So the "components of a vector" are pieces of the vector, which when added together, form the vector. I illustrate that here: th-cam.com/video/Hjc8WwqqF6s/w-d-xo.htmlm52s
A suggestion for this channel is to begin to focus on more advanced topics in mechanics that might be used in AP physics C. Your videos as of late have been centralized too much on stuff you would learn first day of class.
I like this dude. He doesn’t skip steps.

You are so welcome. Thanks for this lovely comment!
Need to know how to solve problems with Free Body Diagrams in them? #PhysicsED #APPhysics1
I have struggled so long on how to calculate the angled forces, but now i finally have the answer. Thanks Mr. P!
You are absolutely welcome!
You're awesome, sir. Keep up the good work. One day, everyone will know about you and you'll get the proper recognition you deserve. ❤
It would be great if "one day" could come sooner than later...
Your videos are absolutely great and helpful! I will tell all my friends about your channel, because after watching about 3 videos, I am convinced that this is the best Physics channel I have come across :) Great job!

Yes I can see that! I love the mismatched socks on the 3 students xD
Greetings from Brazil! Sir, I'd like to thank you for all the effort on putting together this amazing series of videos. You must be some kind of genius! Most impressive channel I've seen so far...
Thanks for the love!
You saved me from next week's quiz. Thank you, will subscribe for more information. Damn you are marvellous
+jamesjh lee You don't need to be saved from the quiz, just prepared. Glad I can help.
Do u remember the score
@@gamingpuzzled7532dude that was 6 yrs ago..lol sorry bro
@@jamesleejh13 k lol hope u did well
OMGGG that made it so much easier for me to understand! And I didn't even have to look at the long videos explaining the topic!
You're so welcome!
legit you saved me from my unit test
you're now my hero
You are welcome!
Glad I was able to help.
3:26 guy on the right didn't say it cuz he got flamed earlier 😂😭 amazing
I just noticed that! Talk about attention to detail. This channel is the best.
you are really underrated man :/
kotzzz9 That makes me the underdog. Everybody roots for the underdog!
(Thanks.)
You are the best teacher ever!!!
Thanks.
Ur class has all the r
Things fun, education,entertainment.👍😀
you are an amazing teacher. I am sure many many many students are going to benefit from your videos and your easy way of explaination.
Thank you! 😃
in start it's very hard to do it sometimes receive nothing but once you get going no won't be able to beat you ... so don't worry about you receiving keep doing JUST DO IT..i am with you always
Thanks +iresh arachchige I appreciate your support and it is an _exceptionally_ slow process getting noticed on TH-cam.
I enjoyed learning with you too!
Very good explanation sir 👍
Your teaching style makes u UNIQUE and me watch your videos.

You are welcome. Glad to help you learn.
Why aren't you as popular as Khan Academy? This was amazing! :)
noble KROWN Sadly, I don't know the answer to your question. However, I did recently enter Khan Academy's Talent Search, so who knows? www.khanacademy.org/talentsearch
Flipping Physics, I wish you all the best! Let the mass x acceleration (minus the friction) be with you! :)
Awesome as always
Thanks!
Take love from a Bangladeshi... 😍
Thank you! Sending love from The USA!
Love your videos
Thanks. Feeling the love!
You have got a TEAM ! which is U,U,U and U ...and yeah bro its grt ! simple and great !
+Atul Saswat You should see some of our brainstorming sessions. They are off the hook!
This was ridiculously helpful
+Liam Roberts Glad to be ridiculous!
You're very amazing sir, thank you. helps very much with MCAT prep!
You are certainly welcome. Did you find my MCAT specific playlists?
oh I wasn't aware of that. I will check it out. Thank you again!
When i am in class i sometimes pretend as if i am watching flipping physics videos and guess what class becomes more intresting to me :)
Abin Bhochhibhoya Hmmmm. I am glad you pretend as if you are watching Flipping Physics videos, however, I wish you wouldn't do it during class...
HEY GUSS WHAT?! I SUBSCRIBED :) :) :) :) :) :)
I subscribed HE EXPLAINS CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS ! IN A FUNNY MANNER
Thanks!
Thank you so much

Have you tried Richard White's www.learnapphysics.com ?
lovely videos ...veryy creative
Thanks. I hope to hep you learn with them.
Great video
Thank you
i still dont understand how to break up force verctors in to their x and y component.. i cant figure out which one is cos and which is sin!!:(
Force is just a vector which you break in to components just like any other force. Try this:
www.flippingphysics.com/vector-components.html
Hey buddy try HC verma
I am very happy everyone wore safety helmets while sledding.
Safety First! Honestly, it surprises me how few questions I get while doing things like this.
How to draw the components.forces explain briefly
Basic vector components: www.flippingphysics.com/vector-components.html
An example problem with force components: www.flippingphysics.com/three-force-example.html
Force components on an incline: www.flippingphysics.com/incline-components.html
Flipping Physics thankq for fast(immediate) response
Flipping Physics plz go with once theoritical explanation only the concept(not with example)..about components of forces..nice to see ur reply..
+Vishnu Vamshi Sorry, however I do not understand your question. What “theoretical explanation” are you looking for?

if only it was that simple....
Actually, it is that simple. Even this problem follows these 5 steps.
