As a big Xtina fan, I will say that Christina (somewhat like Jennifer Lopez) seems a true professional, but also undeniably leaves some lower-level workers with a cold impression. Which in part can be misunderstood shy-ness or protectiveness. I think because she is boisterous and unfiltered at moments she is mistaken to be an extrovert: and that people think she is rude and cold (rather than nervous) when she gets shy. I once talked with someone who had chauffeured her in Vegas and he said she was not as friendly as some other celebs he had driven. He speculated “perhaps she just felt uncomfortable or vulnerable, she is a rather petite woman so I could understand how she might feel physically vulnerable”). When I mentioned that she had survived household abuse in her childhood, he said that that put most of her behavior in a completely different light and now knowing that she seemed less rude and standoffish and more so residually nervous/paranoid to the same degree that a lot of people who suffer such trauma would be when left alone with a stranger (he said she was constantly looking behind her as if to see whether someone was hiding in the back or following her).
