Ubisoft are lazy, all they did was take away the 30fps lock that was on the PS4, they didnt optimize it for the PS5, and they said this was 4K but its still 1600p like the PS4 Pro version. This runs at a constant 60fps on Xbox Series X, it should be the same for PS5 and Pro
I don’t think it is 4k guys. If you watch the update trailer posted from Ubisoft it says nothing about 4k unfortunately, only that it’s 60 frames. Trust me, I want it as much as the next guy, but it’s not 4k 😔
"Version 1.54 - Displayed the game on Playstagion 5 in 1080p and 4K at 60fps" Thats literraly what it says on the update History when you turn on the game on ps5
I guess it doesnt consistently hold 60 because it still is a ps4 game and doesn't have access to the full gpu of the ps5 (pro). On the Series X it looks to be more consistent because the game is able to use the full power of the xbox, simply due to the way the consoles handle backward compatibility
Even the pro when running ps4 back compatible games is restricted to the ps4 pro bandwidth of 218 ghz. It just ups the clocks. The Series X way of doing back compatible games uses the full Series X power. Just a better backwards compatibility implementation on Series consoles.
@@samdriessen640 That's not how it works bro. They clearly did the bare minimum here, this game should run at a easy 60fps on the series s much less the PS5 Pro.
@CovenantArmada It is how it works. Series X runs flawlessly 60 fps 4k, because it can use all the power of the console. Ps5 handles backwards compatibility differently.
Oh interesting about the 1080p option. Didn't think of that when I tried it out tonight. It's less than ideal in 4K for sure. The frame pacing is terrible.
Oh dear, so not locked to 60 fps on the PS5 Pro so that means constant judder as the PS5 and Pro do not support VRR for backward compatible PS4 games (unlike the Xbox Series X|S which do support VRR for backward compatible games).
most ppl don't even know but PS5 and even PS5 Pro are NOT 4K consoles for them to be 4K they need to run atleast most AAA games at Native 4K resolution at 30fps while on PS5 most games run at 1080p or 1200p and are Upscaled to 4k sure there are some games that run at 1440p or 1800p but not all the time meaning the resolution is not locked and then Upscaled to 4k you can say that PS5 is 1200p console and PS5 Pro 1440p and there's nothing wrong with that actually ppl put too much stock in stupid graphics gimmicks and marketing hype i would take a game at Native 1080p locked resolution at 60fps or more over 4K at 30fps even if it's Native 4k any day if only PS5 was marketed to be a 1440p console that run all games at Native 1440p at 60fps and even higher up to 120fps for some game the experience would be much better but companies still think that Graphics are easier to market and they are probably right for the casual gamer but graphics now are very different then what they were 20 years ago or more so the difference is not big and it's better to go for smoother gameplay higher fps
UPDATE: For some reason frame rates are improved if you turn off "Enhance Image Quality for PS4 Games" in the PS5 Pro console settings
Watch DF bideo about Pro. There's one where they explain it, as it's done via hardware by IA.

1080p is this a joke? The standard ps5 is more than capable of running this 10 year old game at least 1440 at 60
There's a 4k/60 mode on base PS5. Its on Series X too.
But it's native 4k at 60FPS on PS5 after the update
@@redfirefox3568 Xbox série x has no 1080p mode

Can't do 4k60fps on last gen game damn !
It can, it just isn't allowed to access the full power of the console because it's a ps4 game
@ It drops even at 1080p !

Are there 2 modes? One for 4k and the other 1080p?
yes, to play in 1080p you have to change the resolution of the PS5 to 1080p in the video output settings
I would have preferred 1440p or 1800p, but 4k (2160p) is also fine, in 1080p too much aliasing
What? PS5 Pro doesn't have the cloth at 30 FPS issue?
I can't tell on my cellphone screen.
It does I tried it myself it’s really jarring
It’s very easy to fix on PC
1080p Looks better LoL
I can’t tell the difference😢
They just using the ps4 pro resolution with 60fps on the ps5
Glad I have the pro 😜😜🤩😜
This updtae is an absolutel mess...
Why ubisoft whyyyyy????😓😓🤦🤦
Zero difference graphics are still the same
I don't see any difference.
They remastered a 2015 game? An interesting choice 😅
No, Ubisoft just unlocked the frame rate for 60fps modes
@rbaz9454 Oh okay, saw a couple of articles saying it was a remaster.
