I think you have the right idea on her whining issue. Between the crackhead lab energy, and the excitement it makes sense. My boy whines a little bit when he gets excited, I feel bad for my pup it’s been a super slow season that ended yesterday for us, and it’s Goose’s first season. But for going into the start of season at 8 months old, and now 10 months at 85+lbs he’s a beast when he does get to retrieve a bird. He exceeded expectations and has loads of natural ability. I can’t wait for next season with my pup and finished training.
My lab just turned 10. She loves to go for rides until she gets into the vehicle. It's absolutely horrible, but nothing changed over the years. Old lab was the best, sometimes it's just the dog. Current dog is great besides not going in vehicle's or to hunt. Good luck.
How about the anti-bark feature on the training collar? Your dog is awsome…. You have matured over the years ive been watching you, figure her out. Congrats on your new baby!!! Glad you survived the tree stand fall also, young man!!
I’m not sure if you took my advice that I left last time, or not but I’m glad you put them further from the bank. I definitely think it is better success!!
Have you considered purchasing some different sunglasses that don’t have mirror lenses? When I’m looking at your video and you’re talking to the camera all I see is your sunglasses and your GoPro glaring in the sun. Additionally number 2’s or BBs work great for diver ducks because they are hard birds to kill.
When you talk about longer shots, steel shot should not be in that equation. Try Boss 12ga Warchief 3/5s paired with a passing choke and you will fold big mallards at 50 yards. You will be one happy hunter!
You should use your drone to fly in front of and above your blind. I think you would see how much glare is coming off of your sunglasses and go pro lens.
Hey man my dog is the exact same way got a prescription for trazadone and now will not take him without giving him one before hand. Only thing i found that actually makes a difference and makes him hunt better just calms him down all in all.
I would love to know what state he hunts in; he never has any competition when it comes to duck holes. In Mississippi, there isn't anywhere you can go and not see people to fight for a spot to hunt. Enjoy not having any competition. lol
My girl was very whiney and yippie as a pup but it tapered off as she got older and more confident. She is vey good for her age but it seems like you have very high expectations, and I never see you giving her reassurance. Give her a little love, she's just a pup.
I’m not sure why you don’t shoot ducks on the water. U could of easily had 2 to 3 mallards out of the one group. Also you don’t wound them where they still swim off.
That’s all correctable by training. Starts from a young age. You can’t correct a dog here and there. Dogs are very black and white learners. It’s like allowing your dog on the couch then you get mad at the dog when he does.
I like to boil them to get all the fat out, rinse shred and put in a soup with gnocchi and leeks. My 7 year old eats it, so I'm sure any man would call it great.
Dang Kora was not gonna stop until she had that duck! She’s a beast!!
👍👍 hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday
Haha.. say goodbye to hunting for 10 years. My son is finally old enough to hunt, and I'm back in the game.

You should bring your diver decoys , adds lots of color and makes spread super visible ,

“I dont know if bismuth is better than steel”
Proceeds to throw 5 rounds of steel at every duck he hits.
Should get Kora a life vest for them big water hunts.
How do you like that Suzuki motor?
Don’t ever use jerk string?
