Fabulous review. We bought this car in red July 14,2020 here in Burnaby BC Canada. Love this Honda. We still have our 1989 Honda Civic LX. 345,000 km on this car. The Honda car is the best.

Thank you for this expertly presented review, I just bought this car, my first Honda, in white, another first for me. Social distancing conditions dictated a fairly abbreviated encounter at the dealership, so I didn't get the in-depth rundown of the electronics you provided here. I intentionally chose the base model because of the non turbo engine, I already have two '90's vintage Japanese turbo rides, and this car will be my commuting car ( about 15 miles a day) What is most attractive to me is Honda's reputation for dependability and the fact that they build their own engines and transmissions, as does Toyota, I believe. Final plus is it looks totally anonymous, tired of answering questions about my 300ZX and 3000GT... Best Wishes Always

@@KERBOSS- Hey Kerenia, I absolutely love it. It's very fun to drive, I barely move going over potholes and unfinished streets and it's very fun to accelerate. I just hoped it had a push-to-start button since this is a very high-tech vehicle. Other than that it's lovely!!!

I just bought a 2020 Civic RS (Australia). Don’t know if you guys have that model...the 1.5 turbo model. Great car. Thanks for the vids Justin. Just had a look same as the EX. Full factory warranty here is 7 years, unlimited kilometres

Pick mine up in 3 hours after having a 2003 civic for the past 2 years, can’t find any videos of what the car is in Australia (VTI not LX) so I decided to look it up on the USA site. Beauty of a car.

No major changes that come to mind from 19 to 20 in the LX.

Great review. I watched your previous video and decided to purchase a 2020 lx sedan in Moulton lava Pearl. I love the car but I turned off Honda sensing because I felt I did not have total control of the vehicle.

How did u turn it off? I recently purchased my civic and can’t figure it out.
No android auto and use of GPS map in LX unless bump up to EX.
Thanks for the great review. We just purchased this car today. There are two thin, long lights up above where the RPM gauge is. They go from white to green. Is this just for looks or is there a reason they turn these colors?
When it is lite up green, the way you are driving is MPG friendly. What means it is not.

Looks like you can't get the LX with a 6MT, that would be the best combo. I test drove the LX, didn't like the cheap steering wheel, felt like plastic and was sticky, guess it could be wrapped. I did like the small wheels and tires over the sport's more expensive to maintain package.
Hey Justin very helpful Thank you Have a question at night when you turn on lights dashboard dims very much is this correctable
There is a dimmer/brightness toggle you can turn up or down.

Just got my first Honda, so far I am loving it just curious though I saw that you can use the key fob to roll down windows and such not sure if it can be done on this trim tho'
This does not work on the base model...

This works on our Civic LX. Just push the unlock button twice, the second time holding it down.

I have a 2013 Honda Civic with the automatic transmission. The first year of the cvt transmission was 2014 and has issues.
When you connect your phone via USB, does the car's screen display your phone's screen?
On the LX it will not.
the sport trim model has apple carplay & android auto
@@JustinFullerReviews and the dealer wanted 195 bi weekly for 5 years and I quietly said screw it. Ended up with corolla le for 133 bi weekly with more features.
I am confused why does my 2021 lx have touch screen and apple CarPlay and I see some on TH-cam that don’t ?
I am guessing you bought your Civic in Canada? The trims are different than the American ones...
@@JustinFullerReviews oh thanks why do the American ones look so dated mine has a nice display and different steering wheel and it has apple CarPlay and android auto and touch screen
So no push to start no CarPlay no manual seats I’ll pass
Well it’s an LX which is a base model which doesn’t have those features. If you’re interested in those features the higher trims (sport, ex, etc.) got it.
