To ration the black olives. Get a wooden ruler, to smack their hands with when they get caught. 😂😂😂😂 You did good with this haul and it all comes down to ration and discipline. But we know how kids are lol. Have a great day and God Bless.
Can you recan the olives in small jelly jars? I'd do the open kettle method so they won't get mushy. I ration by devide into 12 or more Jars for panrty of dried snack items and I have a snack shelf with jars of each. 3 months before my end of year/ annual order I look through pantry and we either eat what's there and try to clear of my fridge and freezer. My order begins in August/September so I'm all stocked up for the biblical year and winter. Each month I only purchase fruit and veggies in season. The more you do an annual haul you really get to know how much you use in a year. I think the best thing is to stay out of the stores, I always want to buy more just because. Then I can sit down and.eaisly make my yearly meal plan putting more soups in winter and knowing how many pies I'll make in a year I worked on this for years and until I adapted the October as the beginning of my year when everything is full from the harvest rather I had a garden or purchased from farmers markets I was waisting food in my pantry and spending more at the store. I ask God for his help and this is the plan that works for me.
Nice haul!! I just noticed the flame raisins on there today. Glad to know they are tasty. Had to laugh at your comment about rationing. You must not want your bathroom tied up with the potential raisin overeater. LOL We have boughten #10 cans of olives in the past. We just set them in jars in the back of the fridge. You can date them with 'don't use before' dates to help ration them. It worked for us. Joshuas pineapple is amazing!!! We have grown them before but then lose them in winter due to small house issues. I wish they could winter outside. Very good haul. That is all I remember to comment on. Fun fun haul!
Good tip with the olives. Thanks! ❤️ I hate making “rationing” comments because you know how that could be taken, but my kids LOVE any kind of fruit, so there must be some boundaries. 😆
@@LargeFamilyHomestead I have considered making a video on it. not sure yet. It funny but dumb. Many things I don't limit. Some I do. Fruit almost always.
We usually use the soft white wheat berries for biscuits or anything pastry-related. When we make bread, we often mix hard red and hard white berries together. ♥
@@LargeFamilyHomestead thank you for your reply. I’ve asked this question so many times to people who actually use the wheat berries and yours was my first reply. I really want to try the berries

With your wheat berries. What berries do you use for biscuits

Also, what were the results with the shampoo bar?
We didn’t like it. It felt too oily for us. ❤️
