APR Marathon | ACT | Marathon in Bangalore

An initiative that was started by the residents of Adarsh Palm Retreat - Bangalore,
in 2011, APR marathon is conducted every year on a Sunday in the month of December.
The race includes 10k, 5k and 1k in various age categories and over 2000 participants take part
in this race. The funds collected from the race is used for helping the under-priviledged and focuses on 3 key areas - education, health and women empowerment.

This is not marathon.. It's just 10k run. Marathon is 42. 2k run competition.

correct. But they call it Marathon :) many local running bodies call their races marathons even though the distance is typically less.
