Hi, Sam, I am Lee Blake, Norman's oldest son. I haven't seen you in years. Here is a piece of history. This is a true story about a woman Dad grew up with in Sulphur Springs, GA. Fanny Walraven had a brain tumor and the family lived near the tracks at crossing #9. When the trains would blow, it would make her head hurt worse. The trains would not blow their whistles out of respect for her until she passed away and then not for several months out of remembrance. The Walravens, her grandchildren to great-great-great-grandchildren still live there today.

Haven't seen Sam play guitar before, but not surprised he does. I'd forgotten this great Norman Blake song though I have it on record. Superb version here Tut and Norman would certainly approve.

This makes me happy and also sad that this song is based on a true story. Your dad wrote an amazing piece of music.
