Sam is funny to watch. They are all amazingly talented musicians, and then you see a 70+ year old man having a blast and just enjoying it. He is the reason I started Mandolin back in 2018. He is an amazing player and person just like all the other guys. Love his playing for sure.
Excellent!!! My first song "Freight Train Boogie" heard (5-6-16) from Sam Bush and band. In fact, going to hear Sam Bush play on July 8th 2016 at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento, NOW looking forward to that. Taking my brother for his birthday and he plays mandolin himself so should be the perfect present!!
Every musician in the pocket. An amazing performance by all the incredible musos on that stage. (Muso = musician, I'm an Australian). Fantasyic song played by a stellar band.
Or...better yet...the Doc Watson version. I love progressive bluegrass and Sam is near the top of my list (next to Sierra Hull) 😀 But even with Molly and White Freightliner Blues, which I've considered to be the gold standard for a while, TBH I still prefer the pace and perfection of the original TVZ version. But that's just me.
Thanks you I really appreciate for the lovely comment and kind words , I just want to say thank you for the supporting of my music I hope you won't stop listening to my songs? I want you to send me a direct message via hangouts using my personal email . Sam’s been the same way since he came on the Bluegrass scene in the late ‘60’s. He is great.

Bass player riff was solid, and drummer was taking it home his own way! Great Band!!!

I'd have to go see him if he ever comes up to Toronto. Fab. Cross appeal to rock Deadlovers and bluegrass people.

Dam, that green hat on the guitar player gotta go, looks like the Pez guy on pawn stars.
That drummer rocks 🎯
Chris Brown is the best drummer in Bluegrass 😊. And he can play any style.
