4:11 i think it also depends on what kind of an image you are portraying, because if the public overtime sees that the performer is kind of "wild" or more on the open side than the fans would have been already used to the possibility. And imo it's always the best (even for innocent image) for performers to talk about what they would like their partner to be like (ideal type) and fan over drama actors because it also brings artist and fan base closer because they can relate to eachother and are more genuine which people always like and support over squeaky clean image which sooner or later will be broken by a scandal of some sorts so... companies should consider this. The longevity of your fanbase and how public will deal with things is in their hands and in simple psychology 🌞

I wasn't around when the bambam and mina stuff happened but as a 5 year old igot7 I haven't heard that the fandom were causing a problem. It was mostly twice fans I believe. Got7 have always just been hated for no reason by some people in that fandom. Us Igot7 want Got7 to date even now I myself am waiting to hear who are they dating so we can cheer them on. It's weird not to date though they deserve to find someone they love.

4:11 i think it also depends on what kind of an image you are portraying, because if the public overtime sees that the performer is kind of "wild" or more on the open side than the fans would have been already used to the possibility. And imo it's always the best (even for innocent image) for performers to talk about what they would like their partner to be like (ideal type) and fan over drama actors because it also brings artist and fan base closer because they can relate to eachother and are more genuine which people always like and support over squeaky clean image which sooner or later will be broken by a scandal of some sorts so... companies should consider this. The longevity of your fanbase and how public will deal with things is in their hands and in simple psychology 🌞

when companies assign certain stage outfits to a group and they turn out to be a religious outfit or cultural appropriation, can they protest/reject the outfits? because from i know, they aren’t allowed to choose what to wear so i do wonder whether some idols know that it’s wrong but were forced to wear them anyways

I always say, if Irene was able to defend herself whether it be from something dangerous that could’ve happened to her or something as simple as she didn’t want to wear something then these other idols should also be able to reject an outfit that’s CA/religious. It’s sad to think about that one of your favorite idols might be ignorant or racist or not care at all but sometimes they may not genuinely know it’s against a culture or religion!

I think foreigner has higher chances in bigger companies. Smaller/broke companies will have to pay more if you'll need Korean lessons compared to bigger companies who has now an established name in the industry and is thinking of ways to break into other markets
