With downloading the original pano from the camera, it won’t auto align due to different exposure. Downloading from media tab doesn’t give the desired res. Lets wait for MP update on this.
Ok you wait. :). I will edit the panos and if needed change the exposure to match.
Thank you for showing your workflow for updating Matterport Scans via Photoshop and back via iOS and Android. I wonder why Matterport doesn't ask: "Which 360 do you want to replace?"
I think this is not a normal workflow that they support. You could build a whole new matterport based on the photos in your 360 camera. But very time consuming.

Hey, I’m starting a virtual tour business and I have a client who wants to shoot two rooms that are connected. We want to shoot them at different days because while one room is set up nice the other room is not set up and vice versa. If we want to get a scan of both rooms and have a continuous tour Howard, we scan the rooms without seeing the other room or is there a way to make it seem like both rooms are clean
I would scan it completely day 1. Then again day 2 on the same model. Then in the edit remove the scans you don’t want. This should make it seem less. The main thing to think about if there are any scans that will see both rooms at the same time.

I do this with the pro 3 also. I’m not sure why yours are pixelated if going with the steps. What size are your downloads?
@@AgentCaseyG Maybe my eye expects more detail. Changing my scan pattern to diamond and triangle shapes for large spaces has improved 360 imports. It works great in 20,000+ SF hotel ballrooms and warehouses, likely due to triangulation from my laser training. Thanks for your quick reply.
When I hit upload after importing the new edited scan, it looks to be creating a new space, taking up usage.

Hi! Great video, but i have other problem. My scan after downloading doesn't allign with anything at all, so I can't relocate it in its place. You have some advice?

Why is it so hard? Can't Matterport programmers put a reload button there? They make so many programs and then go back and forth to reload the photo, like they're wasting our lives. What's their purpose? Do they want to kill us or give us brain trauma? I mean... Is it so hard for you to put a reload button there? Eyyyy Matterport programmers, are you sleeping?
don't forget the year is 2024. artificial intelligence is going crazy... press here, press here, upload, do this, do that, the work is endless... a button, you just have to make a button... we understand, you are Matterport... make that button and save us... what is this? a waste of life. it's like we're going to space.
