Centurion is my favorite and at the moment I only use Calamity to win the matches I can't win but Cosmic Blazar and the other lv.12 and lv.8 dragons are a forced to be reckoned with. I use the Horus engine to fix some of the potency issues they can have and later into the game when your already setup and don't need to protect Trudea anymore Centurions' new tuner gets you so many draws and I just can't wait for Cimellia and Primera Primus. Drawing 2 cards(1 on your turn and 1 on your opponents) and able to protect and recycle the card that does it is insane inside a deck that has as much room for non-engine as Centurion.
Now we have to Almiraj into Secure Gardna if Archosaur was Normal Summoned and Link/Fuse it off for a Link-2+ or Horned Saurus or just chump block if it was Special Summoned.
I play spellbook decks and sky striker. Going against voiceless players is painful. Please continue making videos like this. It's helpful for rogue players.
Don’t fold to gimmick puppets bro. They’re much more fragile than people are giving credit. Imperm on machinex, ash on bloody doll are both game. There literally aren’t combos without them that can ftk. Bysstials, crow, belle shifter and droll all end their turn. Nibiru still works even under field spell, just use it as chain link 2 when they try to use either number 15 or c40 to pop the puppets they gave you stop the ftk. Several people scooped against puppet at the NAWQC when they didn’t even have game. The deck without mansion is rarely able to ftk especially through even a single hand trap of any kind. Also Mulcharmy gets several draws off them. Bloody doll, soldiers and terror baby all summon from hand garunteed. Cattle scream and any lv 8 summoned off of the link 2 chimera doll are also two possible draws based on hands. The deck is unfair when it works, but let’s be brutally honest it doesn’t work often. Especially if it’s prepared for, or loses the die roll. If you have 0 hand traps and they have mansion, cool but if they try to two card combo without it? Don’t scoop. Often they can fall short of 8K Edit: someone tried to say belle can’t work because it’s chain blocked but deleted their comment when I replied. When the rank 8 tries to summon back and add back argent chaos force, it’s always when they summon c40 to pop cards with counters. That is a MANDATORY effect it has to be chain link one. Machinex to summon back will always be cl2, and can be belled. And that is game my brother in Christ
I hope they dont hit puppets caus people want to be dumb. It's no better than tenpai , dark world or exodia ftk. Even snake eyes has an ftk and when that fails they can just snake eye combo.
@@rhinohearth I also hope Gimmick Puppets do not get hit because if people actually used their brains like @josephdull2248 did then the deck really doesn't do much....Read his comment once and you know EXACTLY how to deal with them....But since all their new cards are commons and supers inclucing a ton of commons of old cards I think komoney might hit the Number 40 to 1 just like in OCG.....Just don't touch the field spell plz it LITERALLY just came out
@@PsychoKern honestly, it would be cool to see the deck shift to a line in which they have to use number 88 and c88, the gimmick puppet leo. They already have lines rn that can trigger c88s win condition but take away a big part of their burn damage like limiting number 40 or c40, and they would have to rely on that. And that would be cool as that line is more fragile.
@@jayduel7897 what f they go for terror baby early plus feild spell it seems like their is a higher probability they draw the out to the hand trap than the hand trap stopping them. Shifter seems to work, but if you have no shifter it's bystial or bust if puppet runs more engine it's a little crazy

@thecalieffect you the only reason I’m even staying in yugioh your stuff is very informative. But nonetheless I am a tenpai helmet player I ever got flames on the side of my helmet
Good info, man! I'm curious to hear if you have kept showing RDA some love, especially doing some research with Fiendsmith. I've felt like there could be some potential there, but haven't really been able to get some INFO packs to look into it personally.
Huge Help, ThX!! Currently Playing Etude Branded/Despia & Branded Chimera. I intend to try out other Branded Builds as well as Building one with White Forest soon as that is also an Archetype I've been wanting to play since I first heard about it going to be released. I still have to practice other combo lines for the other decks I have such as RDA and Melodious
I think going 2nd isn't half as bad as people think it is as long as your playing a deck that can play a lot of non-engine. If we play a deck that can afford to play 15 hand traps and 6 board breakers and still be consistent then as long as 3 of those 15 hand traps are Nibiru whats really stopping us from winning. You could literally have 3 Nibiru, 3 Evenly, and 3 Dark Ruler and then 12 negation based had traps. When going 2nd you could side out Ghost Mourner for Perulea help you get into your board breakers and your significantly better hand traps. Keep in mind that by design Ash, Populus, and Diabellestar equate to 3 draws and when Maxx C at home comes out you'll pretty much draw around 10 cards of your deck against Snake-Eyes. You don't have to have 20+ non-engine but if your very careful about your choices you can very easily succeed. Right now in almost all of the decks I play that have at least 15 slots for non-engine I'm playin 3 Ash Blossom, 3 Effect Veiler, 3 Impermanence, 3 Nibiru, and 3 Dark Ruler in the main deck. Most people would side Nibiru. But my reasoning for main decking it is as long as your deck is decent enough if you go first your probably already winning. But going 2nd thats exactly when you need your hand traps and breakers the most. So by main decking to attempt to win games 1 and 2 your far more likely to be successful. When talking board breakers unless its somethin like Evenly matched or cards like Lightning Storm for back row decks you specifically want cards like Nibiru and Dark Ruler that your opponent has almost no shot at interacting with. The reason why I called Nibiru a board breaker and hand trap is because its the only one I know of that technically counts as both. I don't really see Imperm that way because most of the time you can't use it directly from hand. With Nibiru have the benefit using any time you meet the conditions and you see fit. My thing is if you have the room why only run board breakers or hand traps when you can have both just by choosing the right ones. In most cases by choosing 1 or the other your placing a cap on yourself and your deck building.
This is very relevant to Duel Links because of how they are affecting the meta right now. They just added Nibiru! I got it along with Veiler the other day. The day I get to make Skulldios or Croc's ace with it would be a good one! Long Live Fossils!
I'm new to Yugioh after 10+ years. I used to play Karakuri back in the day. This was helpful to learn interactions within the meta. I plan on playing Virtual World with the Beatrice and Ghost Meets Girl combo. Any tips?
I use Runick Ice Barriers and have seen lots of success with in especially with Yubel and Snake-Eyes. One of the decks I struggle against is Ritual Beasts, mostly because the deck uses Shifter and I feel like my deck doesnt do well against shifter. Usually if i can, ill slap down a few Runick cards and if I have it, Synchro Zone.
Honestly as someone who’s started playing tenpai. Because I love synchro summoning I find it hilarious how many random old cards can fuck the deck over. Threatening roar, waboku, stumbling and vengeful bog spirit as examples.
I got a serious question, so does samurai destroyer work on cards like nior where they are unaffected by activated effects since samurai destroyers effect doesnt activate?
lol all of that for a relatively simple problem, the fiendsmith engine is very vulnerable to attribute and type maniupulation. Run a deck like that and you can shut down a third of the engine right out of the box
I was looking through some bulk a guy gave me and found Power Filter. After reading it's two lines of text, my immediate thought was "Holy Crap, why is no one playing this?"
Wouldn’t gimmick puppets automatically lose to Xyz encore? Splits up the monster and summons the material 1 level lower so they cant go back into what they want to summon
I like just about every kind of deck in the game. I've played Vanquish Soul and what I like about is its linear and in the right hands it can beat almost any deck. But what I like most about is it offers a level of complexity thats accessible to people who want to apply themselves. There are so many decks that offer a higher lv. of complexity than Vanquish Soul but they are generally so hard to make and at times can be so inconsistent that it just isn't worth it to me. Decks like earth machine even back when they were good as that Machina mish-mash deck just seemed like a absolute dumpster fire to me.
For the Yubel matchup: Nightmare Throne activation is bait nearly 99.9% of the time. Save the ash blossom/negation for the samsara D lotus. If you have Ghost Ogre, save it for nightmare pain - that will effectively end their turn. A good Yubel player will likely chain block nightmare throne with spirit of yubel’s effect so you won’t be able to ghost ogre it. Nibiru is dogshit against Yubel. The window to activate it is very small before they set up their Omni-negate, and even if you do resolve it, they can just shrug it off and go full combo anyway. Impermanence/veiler should be used against spirit of yubel every time if you have it. Though none of this matters if they summon phantom immediately - at that point you might as well scoop.
@dominickangelo4319 if someone is using Thron with Samsara in hand, the correct play is to destroy Spirit Yubel and make Phantom meaning you won't be able to Ash Samasara. Ashing the Throne is the correct play.
