Big thanks to Westpark for the studio space
Made by Louis Macalister, Noah Ferguson-Dudding and Gryffin Cook. - บันเทิง
It’s crazy how down to earth he is, like he acknowledges who he is but he still sees things through very rational lens and he just seems like a great guy overall. Can‘t wait for new music pretty sure it’s gonna be fantastic.
yea like hes genuinely a ridiculously talented artist
You’re surprised that he acts like a normal person lol?
@@hekapalace well from his music, yeah
@@hekapalace a lot of artists become out of touch when they gain popularity and id say he's pretty big now. so yeah kinda lol
it was fantastic.
you are a great interviewer you asked good personal questions without being weird
That and actually giving him time to answer the questions thouroughly without bombarding him with more
he’s so good
That talk about the military/hierarchies/missing social cues hit hard because my autistic ass was so close to joining to Air Force, since I didn't feel like I had any other option at the time.
Great work on the part of the interviewer, did very good with asking *just* the right questions and kinda stepping back to let Peggy speak.
air force is the way to go if you want any branch
Same. I scored high on ASVAB, helped recruit other high schoolers, and just wanted to the best job I could and what seemed like my only option. This was before Asperger’s was even commonly known, let alone ASD. I feel like if I had a diagnosis back then I could’ve looked at my options much more rationally.
Still glad I failed that piss test and didn’t join. Some people view it as two years of JROTC wasted, I view it as the rest of my life going forward gained .
Peggy genuinely saved me with his music. Especially AMHAC, many times throughout the album it’s like he’s trying to pick you up and push you forward, inspiring on a literal and spiritual level. Not conforming, not succumbing, being unapologetically himself and pushing boundaries while doing so. There’s just something so fresh about that album it made made me grow as a person. Every interview I see with him I respect him more and more, greatest artist of our time imo.
Straight up!
I mess with this
Damn straight
Peggy’s such a gem, can’t wait to see how timeless his music will be in the future
he’s almost created his own genre, nothing else like it he has so many classics already
@@davidharris2985 it's insane
Dude has been dropping classics for more than 10 years
The best in Hip Hop producing & rapping
I agree nothing else like it if not for rapping some of his music would be categorised in a different genre
Just indescribably good honestly his music is sublime
He might get overlooked by the Hip Hop community but I got one think he's the Best
@@lukecockburn1140 i think he’s top 1 pretty easily right now
@@shayshayshayshayshayshayshay what abogue denzel?
@@krypt6482 denzel is great but not on peggy’s level imo
I really respect that he acknowledges the fact that he's not a "happy" person most of the time and has dealt with a fucked up past cause that shit is 100% some shit that affects your world view for life. Just glad he's here giving us the great tunes and hope he continues doing whatever he wants. Unparalleled talent
We were almost robbed of him, thank god he’s here
Peggy the goat no cap. Hope he returns to NZ again, because I missed him this time, and I'll be gutted if I never get to see my favourite artist perform
fly out to see him
I saw him in utah and "his respect for everyone" checks out, even his crowd, he was thankful we were there. I hope u get to see him too, good experience for everyone
BANGS my guy?!?! Hahaha I love that character
This interview goes so hard. It's so good to see someone I consider a big artist to be so open with a relatively small channel - in the grand scheme of things. Have no idea how you managed to get him, but so sick that you did.
This man has ruined other music for me. His work is so damn good and different, that you can’t find a replica of it. He has just been working nonstop since he started more than a decade ago.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to make it to an LP! Tour date, but i know that next time he goes on tour, I am making it a priority to go see this man live. Legit my favorite artist, and his persona really inspired me to just embrace myself and not care about judgment. I always cringe when I hear people say “(random artist) literally saved my life”, but peggy’s music was there to keep me feeling pumped and confident when nothing else would, to a point where I was able to shred my insecurities on my own.
That first sentence really jumped out at me. Such an accurate statement. Most other music is boring since jpegmafia was invented
@@bunkbedblake3215 fr i can't listen to travis scott since i discovered jpegmafia. it seems that all the shit i've listening on is just become dry
I wish i could hug Peggy and say that everything is alright. He has such a deep and sad look in his eyes, its like we can feel what he been through, or at least have a broad idea, must have been so tough
This is an amazing interview man, love how honest Peggy is
thank you for this 😭 i’m happy to get to know more about him. especially with how open he was in this interview. forever a legend
still mind blown you guys got in touch with him - premium content too
I just discovered this guy 15 minutes ago. 😂 Already I’m thinking about attending a concert.
Update???
@@Willyuvokov me personnaly im going to one of his concert soon (i discoverd him like 1 year ago or sum)
Its kinda wild how the airforce wanted you to play a show lol
Peggy has been such a huge influence on me as an artist. His work ethic and attitude has helped me just go out and do what the fuck I wanna do and learn shit myself. Dude is by far one of the most creative and chill artists of this generation. Hope he gets all the love and praise he deserves soon
I am in love with him
Username checks out
i had a strange reaction as soon as peggy said nick drake.... i just went from chilling watching the video to IMMEDIATELY crying the SECOND he said his name... because i just love nick drake too and his story is so sad... idk just wanted to share that, it was a heavy thing for me lol.
that's no interview, that's a full on therapy session. good stuff, folks
I don't think that the interview was depressing, it was pretty interesting imo
Y'all are dope af hope you pick up enough patreon supporters to do your thing full time
great interview, great interviewer, great artist. glad to find this channel. one peace
Great interview boys, legends 🤙
can i just say i absolutely love your animated intro, its so sick
Great reservation in questioning timing, really gives room for an interviewee to reflect. Love you Peggy.
awesome interview
finallyy i was waiting for this:)
was waiting for this 🙏
I started watching you guys after the dunedin video. I knew you guys would end up getting big but JPEGMAFIA is insane. Love to you guys at TDOI and JPEG because this is great. Good luck because you guys have a massive future ahead of you.
really appreciated this. one of the best peggy interviews
Great interview!!
Commenting to boost for the alg
Dud is a Zen monk his voice is so soothing- I can listen to him talk for hours.
Hope you guys will grow! Love the content.
love the honesty loving the information guys
I need to see this man live, his shows look so intense and fun. Dude is the best currently
Awesome loved the intro 😂
great questions and flow of questions too :D
this was cool, thanks
what a great interview, i love his music, so underrated . the part that made me cry was when he talked about not having stability or much of a family
It was him saying people are inherently bad for me. He must've witnessed so much horrid shit to believe that
Excellent questions, excellent interview.
Nice work
You guys got more views with jpegmafia on your last interview in 3 weeks then the no jumper interview did with him in 8 months 🤦🔥 keep up the hard yards boys 🇳🇿❤️
I watched the talib interview before this one and now that shit feels dark💀
one of the realest interviews
This is great. Any interviews where he talks about black ben carson and the second amendment EP to where he's at now? I just wanna know more about what he thinks of his old music, how his music changes. This was a great interview. Just want to hear him talk about his music more lol. relatively newer fan
This was an amazing interview. He is very intelligent and it was nice to hear him clearly give some of his knowledge!
always loved jpeg, but he seems genuinely modest and mature, which is nice
i love how you can get people comfy around you. it’s an amazing presence to have
thank yall for putting NZ on the map and producing quality content. this is so legit yall. fucking proud. chur

18:00 - 18:10 no way 🤣 bro who else would say something like that

I was listening when it got privated
great stuff guys!
can't wait for my interview
Lol I seen the interview with Talib. Peggy was on one glad he’s found a groove
peak content
never seen peggy do this deep espiecially after the oxford/cambridge interview
good shit lads 🤝
The first time I heard Beating the Heart by Oloff my heart stopped beating. Thank God the doctors were able to revive me.
very epic
I had the same hatred for the army. I was in 2016 - 2019. when they realized I wasn't re-enlisting they made my life worse.
man when my friend introduced me to peggy a while ago I fell in love with his music, and now this interview is showing me how interesting of a person he is and I love that. wish I could make it to one of his shows.
Watch the talk he did for a university.
He's like 1990's Skinny Puppy of our time. So much respect for him. True inspiration as a down to earth human being, too.
You know you get interviewing right when the person says "i don't know why i'm being so honest in this interview, but blablabla", i guess
I'm certain this interview came out more than three days ago. I assume it was taken down then re-uploaded.
I always come back to this part of the interview 14:09
I love this man
Peggy is the man, great interview
Fire
jpeg called me out in the beginning there...damn guy
Lol that talib interview was legendary though
I died when he straight up just called him a fucking weirdo
@@dcproducing4181 yea that was hilarious. What did he do tho?

Anyone know what boots Peggy is wearing?
🔥
Boys can interview!
🐐
There are times in life where you just want everything to end. There are other times when you just want to listen to Doing It Stealthy at max volume and call your boss the R-word
I wanna give him a hug
0:23 I think he called me out except I dont eat worms and I dont wanna be in the military I just can't pay attention at all I just sit there and I have god awful social skills
fuck yea! peggy so inspirational
what boots is he wearing?
I admire how honest Peggy is. He’s a real one.
I love Peggy, great interview
11:40 is so fkn true bro
someone needs to teach peggy how to ride a bike
I love this guy
His honestly is why he is the greatest out
sound man
I understand exactly what he saying I’m in the military and. I made the most of my time - got my degree got certs landed a 100k job - an I will tell u he’s RIGHT
oh shit this fresh😹
Peggggy bruh shoutout for u speaking ur mind I always relate to stuff u say. See ya soon. Drew della x Peggy
Oloff's music helps me to process my feelings about 9/11.
Wondering what kinda boots those are tho😅
He called talib a weirdo 😂
I will never forgive hairline peggy!
Who r you guys and how did you get peggy to do an interview?
