I'm happy with the Hisense U6HF i got this week. 65" was the price of Samsung's 55" and I dont think samsung does anything else better on their TV. I also have the Samsung AU8000 and wasnt all that impressed. This Hisense is really cool tho.

i really like this channel cuz it covers different ranges of tv. not just the oled ones. cuz going to the 4ktv reddit they'll always call everything trash other than the top tier oled ones. its good to see reviews for the other range without the elitism.

I was looking at a CU8000, but the specs were too low. Price was okay.
I ended-up getting a Q70C. For a little more money, I feel like I got a lot more TV with higher specs.
So far I am happy with it.
( Yeah, those little solar remotes are crap. I got the larger one from Amazon. More buttons is better. )

Отличный телевизор за свою цену. Достаточно яркий и цветастый. Отлично масштабирует изображение из 2к в 4к для игр. Имеет достаточно хорошую плавность движения не смотря на то что заявлено 60 герц.

Thanks for showing me the tv I’ve already bought, before I receive it. I studied Hisense and TCL and Samsung before I decided on the Samsung. I’ll admit it was mostly because of name recognition. My mistake was not watching any videos like this on any of them. I must’ve studied them for at least 4 hours on Amazon.

I recently bought a DU8000 from a reseller, and Ive noticed that there is much ghosting on it, especially when watching people move, i.e. basketball, ufc etc? Is it normal for the unit to have that very noticeable ghosting?

@TechSteve hello, currently netflix and youtube only via wifi.
@arev2485 too many variables, example. I have 300 mbps on fiber and Netflix 4k. No issues, same for youtube as long as I manually switch to 4k. So when you say basketball i hope you’re not using cheap iptv or hacked fire stick, those are resolution killer and your tv will look terrible no matter what you do.

I have been running an NU8000 since the model came out in 2018; I'll NEVER buy another edge lit LCD again. The blooming on this thing, especially with HDR in the dark, is beyond ridiculous.
I will also be staying away from Samsung after our panel had issues at less than a month old, which required techs to come out three times under warranty.

@@TechSteve PC, Richards and Best Buy websites stated as having three HDMI 2.1 on the 50 inch model
@Erik-sw8wm ok all that means is that it can provide better colors from external sources at 4k 60Hz since HDMI 2.1 has more bandwidth. If you looking at gaming don’t expect 120Hz

There are four differences between using US appliances in the UK : the voltage ( US = 120V, UK = 240V ), the number of watts the product draws (different for each product), the frequency ( US = 60 Hz, UK = 50 Hz ), and the plug on the power cord

@@TechSteve Ah, nono I was talking about the screen's refresh rate. Over here in Germany, stand:yesterday, I only managed to find information about the 98" TV. Under the specifications, it mentioned that the TV has a refresh rate of 100Hz.
I was thinking that this is the "new" feature for the Crystal UHD TV's for 2024. But in the video, you mentioned that it does 50Hz (like the 2023 version).
Or maybe I just mistook you talking about what grid frequency with screen refresh rate.

@@TechSteve I just bought the du7200 from Best Buy I will update you when I hook it up but the review says it doesn’t support 120 fps but it does support VRR with HDMI 2.1 is limited to 60fps
@RodMurray777 I don’t think it has VRR but it would be interesting if it works
The TV is also limited to 4k @ 60Hz and doesn't have VRR, so it's not a good option to pair with modern gaming consoles

Samsung entry-level tv are not good. Hisense and tcl entry-level are better. Samsung needs to up there game in the entry-level price. range. Plus with this forcing people to make a Samsung account. Is another reason to pass on them. Samsung better start worrying about tcl and hisense because they will push them down to a #5 place tv maker.
There’s some truth about this
I disagree I sell hisense and tcls along with other tvs for a living and I hear more complaints about issues and quality then any other brand we sell
I disagree in my experience the tvs with the most issues and returns are hisense and tcls
Maybe because less are sold it appears that the return volume is higher and since people aren’t familiar with the brand i’m sure one minor issue that they see, they will return and if a well know brand has an issue they probably think, that’s the way it is before returning.

I hate smartthings, it asks way too many personal info just to get it working. I never feel safe divulging so much info just so i can use an app to turn my tv on. Samsung needs to review their permissions etc on this app or offer another version that dont ask my address, location and other peraonal info
