That’s a vice cabinet. You can put the center channel on top , which solves the problem of a lot is UST’s, and yes people still collect movies, streaming doesn’t compare to a 4k disc in quality and dynamic range for those of us who care about sound.

Nice little home theatre so far. Picture looks great and what counts is that both you and the wife are happy with it. Now for the sound system setup in regarding the center channel you could mount it underneath the projector screen since the cabinet is away from the wall and that should be able to work then your front left right speakers should be good. You can do also for your surround sound speakers they could be wireless and hook them up to the AVR via with a bluetooth module but it all depends on which AVR you do and your budget is the big one. other than that cool setup buddy and enjoy!!!

I love the size but I don't like seams. Would drive me crazy knowing it's there even if most of the time you don't notice it. I would have to get the 132 inch size.

UNlikely there is ANY "real wood" in that cabinet. The more weight there is, the more likely it is veneer over particle board.
...and when you switch it on... the neighbor's lights dim.
How about the heating of your room electrically when viewing?
How does picture quality compare to my XR-85X95J?

It must be nice getting all this stuff for nothing, then being able to probably buy it after a pre-determined time for next to nothing. It's all great especially with the informative video's you do but the dilemma is most of this stuff is for the rich. Not the end of the world but some middle of the line equipment would be nice to see. I just haven't seen all your video's. Great vids what I've seen so far.

Go 5.1.4 or bigger for atmos as dolby suggests or 7.1.4 minimum for... Oh wait, people only stream now, so dtsx is dead too without a Sony tv with Bravia core. (I'm still waiting Disney) RIP to physical media. Sony is gonna be a life savoe in that space. You are probably on the right track with what you have, but you are missing your dialog speaker. A Sony avr possibly, because they are king of the living room and not home theater. When you put the avr on one side and the pecever on the other sony is the only one that can help!

B, honestly, what about the DLP developing dead pixels starting at about 6k-8k hours and the noise? I thought 98 was pretty sweet. What you honest opinion B?
