This video shows you how to install a new front CV axle in your 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500. A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications.

Awesome video. Did you replace that upper A-arm/ball joint at some point? Looks like its the weak link now.
Also before jacking up and removing wheel break axle nut and lug nuts loose. If you have a serious impact gun it may not matter. My impact wouldn't break the axel nut loose, so I needed the tire on the ground and used a breaker bar.

Yeah just tap it out with a hammer and piece of wood......B.S. !!! Took me about 3 hrs to get mine out yesterday...
I just found another video that confirmed the way that I take it out you don't have to remove all that stuff just take the axle nut off ,you can get to half shaft out .

It seems like you have to tighten this exactly right?
You said 21 mm in the beginning then 22mm at the end.which one is it?
Do you need to grease the splines or inside of the boots on the cv axel?
Looked simple enough. Sadly, my stub shaft came out with the CV axle so this is insufficient space to get it out, at least there seemed to be. I may give it another try when it isn't raining. My plan if I can manipulate it out is to free the lower ball joint and pull the knuckle since I am doing the bearing and brakes as well.

What? No mention of Torque specs or Ft lbs ..
I know you were just showing the video on the front axle buy why didn't you address the upper balls joint being ripped open and no grease in it that's not gonna last long like that
