    Hi! Have you tried the line pour technique? I got in a bit of a hurry during the pour and didn't really stick to my plan of gradually increasing the amount of orange soap. I actually just completely forgot about my plan as soon as I started the pour. 😂 I may try this technique again using more colors and leaving off the gradient.
    I hope you're all doing well! Thanks so much for watching! -Holly :)

      I accidentally did a technique just like this some time ago. If you add a bit of soap after each pass before adding the strip for the “line” on top of the batter it has a pretty great outcome.

    My son and I watched your video this morning. He said, whoa quit a few times and said, I like that soap a lot. It looks like Jupiter.
    Well done on another beautiful soap. 🧡🤍

    Thank you for making that point about melting the cocoa butter first because it has the highest melting point *and then* adding the other hard oils to it to melt! I see other soapers on youtube meltng the coconut oil first and then stirring in cocoa butter and re-microwaving when it doesn't melt completely, and it always confuses me why people don't think to melt the hard oil with the highest melting point first.

I take it out of the oven at that time and let It cool down to about 115* then place under a towel. Should I skip the oven and just put it under a towel? I want the colors to stay bright.

    • @hollysoapmaking
      @hollysoapmaking  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I always use the oil weight of the recipe. Like for this one, my recipe oil weight was 1100 grams with an EO usage rate of 40 grams/kg. This gave me a total EO weight of 44 grams.
      Thanks for the great question! Hope you're doing well! 😊
