🟥 DISCLAIMER: I make these videos to share my own personal methods and techniques for how I make cold process soap. These videos are not intended as tutorials for beginners. The content I create is meant for those who already have an understanding of cold process soap making. Cold process soapmaking involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can permanently damage your eyes and burn your skin. When making soap, you should already know and practice lye safe handling procedures and always wear safety gear during the entire soapmaking process, even while cleaning up. I hope you find watching my videos helpful or entertaining. However, due to the many variables that can affect a particular batch of soap, if you do try any of my methods or techniques that I use in my videos, I cannot be held liable or responsible for your results.

I made this soap and am so pleased with results. I used your recipe and method exactly ( except I used a different essential oil) and am so impressed with the lather and creaminess. Others I gave it to have said the same. This is one I’ll make over and over. Thank you so much.

I'm so excited to watch the video
Holly, I just made your Himalayan soap bars. I did not use the coconut milk. I used coconut powder. My question is how long do these cure for and I also want to say I love your channel. It’s very inspirational. Thank you so much for posting your videos.
Love it ❤❤❤❤ thank you
Lovely viseo aa usual Holly.
Was eyeing ur beveler.
So much better thn vegetable pealer.Though as I feel lot of soap can get wasted so have stopped doing away with the removing of the sharp edges .
muito lindo o sabonete com bastante espumas meus parabéns vou tentar fazer essa receita.
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Hey Holly. Your videos are always so relaxing and informative. Thanks for sharing. Where did you purchase that mold?
Thank you so much! 💕 I purchased it from Custom Craft Tools.
When do you blend the salt into the mixture? I must have missed this in your video! Can't wait to try!
I love that pealer!! I need one like that! Where did you get it?
Thank you Holly for your wonderful video tutorials. I learned a lot from there. I'm new and wanna ask what is the effect of white kaolin clay when added to soap?
Hey Holly. Beautiful soap. Can we substitute Babassu oil instead of coconut oil? Thanks
Beautiful soap as always! Thank you Holly for sharing your knowledge. How do you manage not to get soda ash?
Thank you so much! I almost always get ash when I use pink clay on top but just lucked out this time. I was really surprised.
@@hollysoapmaking Thank you Holly for answering. Just watching your videos I never see soda ash.
Do you add salt as an exfoliating agent or as a water softener?
As always lovely video, thank you! Is the purpose of the salt to make it scrubby or to make it harder?
Thank you! The salt doesn’t really make the soap scrubby (since it’s fine and dissolves quickly), but it does make the lather feel different (probably due to the softening effects), and I just love how my skin feels after using one, even a low salt bar like this one.
That’s a nice tool to bevel. Where can you purchase it? With a 12% SF, it’s not drying at all? Does it have nice exfoliation with the 10% salt?
Thank you for another great video. I’m inspired to try the recipe. I’ve read warnings that salt bar batter can harden very quickly and can be hard to cut. You didn’t seem to have that problem. Is that because at 10% it’s not an issue?
I love your videos. May I ask what dimensions was this soap?
🤩
Please teach us the hot process for this beautiful soap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
may you recommend where to get oils and butters please
Bonjour Holly Cela a l'air si simple avec vos fragrances moi les miennes font venir la trace en 2 secondes
Turned out gorgeous!
Question, wanting your opinion. If I made something similar, how do you think adding sugar to the lye water to help the lather would do? Thank you!!
I would add sugar to the water before mixing with lye. It can help boost the bubbles, but in a salt bar, coconut, palm kernel, or babassu are going to be your top bubblers as well as the addition of castor.
@@MsAubrey thank you!!! ☺️
Bonjour et merci pour cette superbe vidéo.. je vais essayer ce savon très bientôt.. pouvez vous me dire combien de pourcentage de lait de coco vous ajoutez? Merci d'avance
Hi Holly, how do you determine super fat in your recipe. I am new to soap making and trying to figure out how everything works. Thank you!
if i don't have an option in my oven to leave the light on, what's other solution?
Did the grapefruit fragrance stick for long with this blend , I had made a blend with cedarwood and peppermint but it just went off. I think you used a stronger concentration and also more fragrance oil 50 mg / kg than 31.
Am I right?
So when adding sea salt and coconut milk to soap you need to add more lye mixture? So confused
You mixed your lye water in a plastic container?
Why does coconut oil dry your skin?
How much coconut milk to be added
❤❤🎉🎉😊
Holly I try this soap making idea and it was a total flop for me not sue what did wrong I need help as I am a new soap maker
