If you ever taste boudin and or cracklins you'll be ready to relocate your entire life to the Southern U.S. Most especially Louisiana or Texas where the most ICONIC Cajun foods can be had at its finest. TY Mark for coming and making a wonderful video and sharing our little nook of the world. Thank you also for bringing Ying and Micah to experience our culture also. It's just that the food originally fed people that worked all day in the fields. They needed the energy. But we have shifted to more sedentary jobs, but still love the food that our grandparents cooked. We have to reduce the amounts or do a crazy amount of exercise to compensate

Boudin is a staple there, for sure. It's perfectly okay to eat two links of Boudin, chips, and a drink for lunch. Not only that, but even the gas station food is great there. All of them sell Boudin.

@@pastorhaze9509 what!?
I suppose if you live in some strange crazy world where having disgusting table manners and teaching your kid to do the same might be the best job in the world .... but those of us living in the sane world know better.
Being a parent is definitely NOT the best job in the world. It's the most thankless job. No thank you.
@@pastorhaze9509 which part do you disagree with lol…..wtf
Why do these come in when I’m hungry😫.. Mark you’re doing an amazing job. Kudos
May joy and happiness accompany you throughout day and night! Wishing you a very nice Wednesday! Love from Korea 🇰🇷💕
Mark bro you are genuine humble honest person keep it up. Came a long way since 2013 started following you 👍
That was fun to lean how they process Boudin and make Cracklin. It looks so delicious!
you have to really appreciate them sharing their sausage making technique
Oh my God, SPICY BOUDIN what a way to start my day. Thanks Mark for this wonderful Louisiana food trail, Cajun Sausage Factory, Amazing.💖
I swear, he always radiates positive vibes
I live right up the road from the Best Stop. Good stuff! You can see why Louisiana has an obesity problem! The food is just too good! You have just started. There are so many places around here with good food. Lots of good cooks. Lots of men cook in Louisiana.
It's just that the food originally fed people that worked all day in the fields. They needed the energy. But we have shifted to more sedentary jobs, but still love the food that our grandparents cooked. We have to reduce the amounts or do a crazy amount of exercise to compensate
I'm always impressed by Mark's humility when people who are super oblivious to his TH-cam notoriety, and he answers their questiond like he doesn't have over 8 million subscribers🤗🤗🤗
Love that you're spreading the knowledge of boudin to the world! I grew up with it (Southeast Texas) and now I'm in Korea and it's definitely something I crave the most!
Don't they have the glutinous rice blood sausage? Not quite the same, but similar idea
@@yutakahitomi2594 That's true! It definitely uses different flavors and textures though. There are even a few Cajun restaurants here that I've been to, but they still don't have boudin 😪
I just moved to Houston right on
@@xaviermiller8214 In Houston, you want to go to Landry's Seafood & Steakhouse or Pappadeaux for a taste of Louisiana. Both are legit Cajun restaurants.
I miss Tex-Mex the most, not boudin. LOL
Even after just eating, Mark, your videos make my mouth water and I could eat all over again!❤❤
Wow Mark that looks so incredible. Thank you for your unbelievable food shows. Your the best!
Blade and The Best Stop Supermarket were very hospitable to you, Ming and Micah, Mark! The boudin and pork crackling looked delicious! If I lived nearby the market, I think I would have to eat boudin every single day! Great video...love how you match the music to fit all of your videos! So enjoyable to watch! 😊😊😊
Boudin is a staple there, for sure. It's perfectly okay to eat two links of Boudin, chips, and a drink for lunch. Not only that, but even the gas station food is great there. All of them sell Boudin.
@@davehebert3403 will have to make a trip to Louisiana come Spring! Thanks! 😊
Yay you finally went to The Best Stop!!! I been going there since I was a kid, their boudin and cracklin is the best in the world no question!!!
I used to work in a factory like this. It was hard work but good work buddies. Great video Mark. You are awesome 👍👍😃🍖🍗🥓🍳🥘🤘
I had just finished watching one of your Italy trips and this one was up next... I was already missing Louisana and after this I'm missing it more . Thank you for taking me with you and your family on your food journey ❤️
Sausages are one of my favorite things to eat and this Boudin is definitely at the top
Mark, I love how you only mention likes and subscribes quickly at the end of your videos (which I always watch to the end) rather than at the start like other channels I have checked out and don't even know if I will like. Big respect for that. I think my favourite would be the smoked boudin, but they all look great.
You’re videos make my day better
Oh, I really want to taste the smoked boudin and the crackling! Looks so delicious!
Me too.
The new thumbnail is over the top, Mark. Are you trying to tell us something? 🤣🤣
It's a bit suggestive!
hahahahahhahahahahahhas
@The Nudge lmao
@The Nudge Sorry, no sausage party for me!
Naw fr🤣
Only youtuber in my subscription for whom I have enabled notifications. @markwiens, man with a pure soul.
@13:01 *”That is porky; just a porky heaven”* 😆
Mark had been missing out (never having boudin before) but better late than never! Boudin is delicious.
It's definitely non-Kosher :D.
Woohoo - glad to see you went to Scott for Boudin !!
Glad your doing a proper tour of my state!!!!! So many people only go to Nola,
Hello from Baton Rouge!!
Make sure you get a taste of TIRDUCKIN
When I heard the crunch of the crunchy skin, my mouth overflowed. Now I have to get a bag of fried pigskin(grissvål) - And I thank you for that Mark!
Love your video Mark! Grew up eating boudin all my life. We would travel from Texas to visit family in Louisiana and would get boudin every time. Love best stop. Unfortunately they didn’t give you a boudin ball with pepper jack which is my favorite. If still in Louisiana you have to stop at Billy’s to get their version of the cheese boudin ball which are the best too me, they also have amazing smoked boudin!!!
Billy’s boudin balls are the Best!
A beautiful thing to brighten my day, thanks Mark, hope you re doing great
Love the show ,not only is it entertaining but also educational. Keep it up.
Louisiana is a treasure trove of great eats!
I honestly get the biggest smile on my face whenever you upload, Mark!
