The message of God is not diverse, it's one message to all men. There are no categories of it. God wants all men to repent and turn away from their evil deeds and come to the light. That's basically the message.

I fell in love with you Pastor Gideon the first day I saw your video. I was troubled in my spirit the first day I heard this message from Bishop Abioye and I had looked forward for an opportunity to do what you are doing now because many people will hang on Bishop Abioye message to cover their errors. So when you challenge what they are doing from scripture they will tell you "Judge Not" meaning mind your business. Please How do I meet or connect with you Pastor Gideon? The problem with this end time church is that men of God are more powerful than God Himself. So we accept teachings irrespective of what the Bible say. I recollect i once challenged someone and he told me Adom Kyei is the voice of God, he hears from God directly so he doesn't use the Bible. See absolute madness

This African idea of don't correct those who are older than you etc, is why even when an elderly person is destroying lives by their actions everyone is quiet.

Also study the Bible carefully, you’d realize that the Gospel came to Africa (particularly Ethiopia 🇪🇹 ) before reaching Europe.

There is no such thing as being called to preach prosperity, healing or some particular thing. That is a lie from the pit of hell. Everyone is called to preach one thing and that is "THE GOSPEL"
We know the gospel is one. But some men of God are called to project some areas of the gospel and they become well known for that. That doesn't mean they don't teach other areas of the gospel.
Deeper life - Their emphasis of the gospel is righteousness, holiness, heaven and hell
Mountain of Fire - Emphasis of the church is on deliverance.
Christ embassy - dominion, success and breakthrough.
Daystar ministry - The ministry focus is on leadership, business and success
The list goes on.
Even if the gospel is one. Some men of God are called by God to project some subject over other subject.

That idea is not biblical.
Every other preaching and teaching that does not align with the gospel of Christ, pointing sinners to the cross and believers focused on the the ultimate goal of being here, such teachings/preaching are secondary and should not be dwelt on too long. Christ did not send us to preach prosperity, healing and breakthrough as these are add-ons for accepting Christ.

I got instantly worried and heavily troubled immediately I listened to that message few days ago!
Thank God others too like you stood up to challenge this erroneous utterances against scriptural stand. This must not be permitted to trail in Christ's kingdom community, no matter who it is.

Unfortunately, the average Christian today is raised to be weak and defenceless against error.
All false teachers, false apostles and false prophets will be out of business if we raise sound Christians (ie true disciples of Jesus Christ) who know the word of God accurately.

Go back and learn the bible, Jesus directed that to the Pharisees, but Paul said this about we those in Christ who have the mind of God through His word, (don't you know that you shall judge angels)

In as much as every minister has a particular assignment, its important that each christian vigorously defend the faith and condemn heresies. Balance is key.
Exactly. The problem here is Ps Gideon is responding to a snippet of a sermon. And also terribly misquoting the person
The only vission, I know Jesus, our Lord has & His prayers, is that we all should be one, in John 17: 11, 21 - 23. Paul apostle had to go & confirm, the message he was preaching, in Jerusalem with the other disciples & he discovered it was the same. All the servants of God, in the Bible we're all saying the same thing, pointing men to God, in obedience.

Leaning to stay on your lane is the right thing in today church, God doesn't called anybody to be monitoring what other people teaches. However you can make corrections in love for those who are willing to hear and not by force. Even the people must be under your space

Sir, as much as I appreciate your input, and continues teaching on the truth of the scripture find it very surprising your assertion of Grace as a window for sin though not directly so but in context that is what it means. Someone like me listening to Pastor Joseph prince messages over the years and receiving the freedom that Jesus's finished work at the cross provided for me was the way God got some of us out from the depth of sin and seeing you not understanding the work of grace in many believer's life surprising me alot I differ completely that grace is a licence to sin you cannot do the two as the same time you cannot walk in grace and work conveniently or comfortable in sin but even when a believer is fallen should he deny his identity of being the righteousness of God in Christ jesus? I don't think so, so I don't deny my identity simply because I miss it I would rather keep declaring the reality of what Jesus has made me freed from and as I do my situation must give way to God reality in my life that is the grace life it is what Jesus did for me and not what I did for myself I receive it by faith and run with it.

That exactly is the problem. Ps Gideon does not understand what the so called grace and faith preachers preach. You won't appreciate people like that unless you've come into contact with someone who has surrendered their life to Christ and yet can't understand why they are struggling with sins they always try to avoid. There are genuine people who give up on their faith because there is one sin they couldn't overcome. They don't make excuses for their failings, they are doing all they know to do to stop but they can't

Pastor Gideon, if you say "50%" of the people who go to church is in error? then, praise God!, there is hope, maybe it is 50% in your location, but in my country and location, i can bet you, not up to 20% attend church services to know Jesus Christ, but for what they will get out of it, and to be entertained.
The carefulness is whether whatever done or attempt to correct is done perfectly.
Who corrects a person into apologetics???.

It's good to stand against falsehood but it's also wrong to disrespect and insult your colleagues and other ministers . Please keep it balanced .
In as much as I love what you are doing, what the Bishop is saying is very true. Because you can't correct these men of God. In fact, they are not hearing you or listening to you at all.
You can't correct this man of God? How foolish is your statement. Search the scriptures for yourself. We are called to call out heresy in the body of Christ. And we are only given one gospel. The birth, life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. God did not give any apostle or His disciples prosperity Gospel. This is lies from the bottomless pit. The Bishop only said you should focus on what God has called you to do. He even said the reason he knows God is supporting a minister is that God confirms the word of that minister. He went on to say that people should not think someone is doing well because of the message they are preaching but rather it's because they are doing what they have been asked to do.
This Bishop is always like this. He was called to preach prosperity 😀
Have you listened to him throughout a calendar year to ascertain if prosperity is what he preaches? Have you listened when he's preaching on sanctification? Have you listened when he's preaching on the Supremacy of the Word of God?

I think he is making a lot of sense on his submission. All of us must focus on our call and some are definitely called into the apologetic ministry. My take on the subject Apostle
"Pastor's spend more time raising funds than properly teaching the members." Say it again, Ps. Gideon. They give members the impression that you have to give God money before He does something for you. You have to pay for what Jesus paid the price for.
The calling of Christ on us all according to Eph. 4:1 is only one calling . He also specifically said we should make disciples of him.
What the man is saying in the video is another gospel given by another Jesus and and has recieved another spirit 2 Cor. 11:4 and therefore this is wrong.

We should focus on our assignment/ministry? What if the person's assignment/ministry is in relation to polemics and apologetics?
Then make it clear and focus on it. You shouldn't wait for trending news to operate in your ministry. Do full teachings on the wrongs in a doctrine. Don't just respond to snippets.
FACE YOUR ASSIGNMENT ONCE YOU DISCOVER IT, as long as you know it’s your God-given assignment. That’s the message, especially talking to ministers of the gospel; that’s the CONTEXT!!!!!

Results of spiritual work isn’t always a sign of God’s approval. When the disciples asked Jesus to call down fire as Elijah did, what was his answer? Embrace apologetics and let’s stand for truth just like Paul and Jesus.

Let's see this from the point of view of JESUS, the WORD Himself. If you read John 17:11 21 - 23. Bro. I have observed that you are always looking for some errors in some fathers and pastors and try to correct and that ok it self is sin.

Pls we are told to preach CHRIST & HIM CRUCIFIED. That is the gospel & that is what the apostles preached. Jesus himself preached about love, repentance, forgiveness, holiness and the righteousness. There is no record of Him teaching anyone how to be a millionaire or the best carpenter or farmer. God calls men to particular people or place ,there is no incidence of God calling people to preach an exclusive topic or field of life in the NT. This is a modern adulteration which is alien to scripture. So if one preaches marriage only, is that enough equip his congregation for heaven? Truly there are very very few on the narrow path these days ,no wonder Jesus asked if HE would find any faith on earth when He comes. I was baffled and saddened by the accolades the erroneous assertion received in a crowd of pastors.
Bishop David Abioye's call has nothing to do with defending the faith. It has everything to do with diversity of gifts and differences in ministry. His boss Oyedepo believes in prosperity for the church and also sound doctrine. So he's not exchanging sound doctrine with blessings from the gifts of the Spirit.
My dear Gideon. You are also doing your assignment of castigating or correcting other minister. What you are doing is not a session of the gospel as highlighted in the Bible. I have never seen you preach success, healing or dileverance. Or are this not part of the gospel?
Most of you have been so damaged and twisted by the materialistic gospel. So if one does not preach money, ,prosperity, breakthrough and healing, you will not take it as the gospel?
You quote scriptures to contradict your points, in most of the text God himself is the one saying He will take action against them.
Even this role it's still part of what you envisaged to do. But in doing this it must be in love, what we see among people like you mostly is that of taking and talking in the place of God. He has not given any man the role of judging His servant in the book of Romans.
My big question is what happened after Charles Finny, the one in Scotland and so many other great evangelist that makes the fire of the gospel went out after their exit, was it prosperity message and other things you numerated, ln as much as some preachers has gone to the extreme, focus should be seen finding what makes the fire of the gospel went out in England and Scotland so as to prevent the repeat of history especially in Africa.
