After experiencing a loss of Wi-Fi, shortly after a recent power outage, I noticed my 3 week old Verizon Internet Gateway quit receiving and transmitting wifi completely.
My initial thought was to return it to the Verizon store where I recently purchased it from. So that's just what I did, however come to find out they do not test these units at the Verizon store. I was given the Verizon customer support number and sent on my way.
Fortunately the lady at Verizon customer support (800-922-0204) was very helpful in troubleshooting my problem. She determined my unit to be faulty and issued me a replacement. Generally they ship you a replacement right away, however it can take up to 3-days to receive it.
That means your without home internet for at least 3-days. She didn't want me to be without internet so she located a replacement at another nearby store and I was good to go.
I was very satisfied with the Verizon customer support.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation with the Verizon Gateway?

I lost my internet, but thankfully when I unplugged the 5G box and plugged it back in, it seemed to “reboot” and now all is good. Thank you for your video and info!
You are very welcome and I'm glad all worked out. They actually say it's a good idea to "reboot" the router occasionally as it does have to update once and a while.
