Merry Christmas !!🎄☃️❄️🎁
I am obsessed with your channel. I now have 3 new fav meals added to my meal options. Xo
Putting the potatoes in whole is a great idea. I usually just add my potatoes the last hour or so so they don't end up mushy. But this looks wonderful and I really like your style. Happy holidays!
Looks great!
Happy New Year, Miss Camirra!! I so hope you and your family had a great Christmas and New Year's Eve. This looks good, not really a fan of Beef, Pot Roast but in my time I have had ones that could change my opinion. This looks like one of them. Thank you for making me hungry all year with your great recipes. Thank you, Miss Camirra, have a beautiful day!!!! P.S. I like my roast with some bite, If I want a soft roast, give me a piece of gum, lol.
😂 I feel you. Adjust the cook time to like 6 hrs for more bite.
Looks soooo good! U make me laugh - glad I found u!
Thanks Camirra ,this looks soooo- good , I'm going make it for Christmas .GOD BLESS , and VERY MERRY CHISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY .❤
Love this recipe. I like my veggies a little crunchy 😋

One of my favorites Camirra, tfs your recipe & Merry Christmas friend! ❤❤
Same to you!
One of my goals 😂fa next year
I want a pot roast for my birthday and I definitely want to try this recipe, it looks fool proof/simple..
Love your videos.❤
Hi sweetie I'm going to make your chuck roast tomorrow!! Just be careful with some herbs are toxic to dogs!! Love your cooking!! Happy holidays!! ❤ Mamma Carolyn
I am old. Only one tooth. I like soft stuff.
this roast will be perfect then. just cut the veggies smaller
Gonna have to come back to this one
All veggies soft
Heterosexual African American man here. I am a good cook. I am following your lead on this roast. You are great 👍
se ve delicioso 😫
YUMMY!!!! ❤❤❤
Yum 🤤
WOW!! What could be easier? I could just hire you to fly to California and cook for my family every week.
😂
This is the best pot roast I've ever made.
Love this recipe and commentary!!!😂
Thank you 😋
Camirra this pot roast looks so rich and delicious. I'm making one for Christmas and I bought Cabernet Sauvignon for the wine do you think that will be dry enough?
yep thats perfect!
@@CamirrasKitchen ok thank you so much 🎄🎄
I'm bout to set it off!
Mmm
Had to give a thumbs up after I heard the phrase “use that W sauce”
The perfect winter meal. Why the slow cooker over the Instant pot? Just curious. I have to use both of mine more often than I do for sure. Lima beans and ham hocks in the slow cooker are phenomenal! Great job! ☺☺☺
I’m an instant pot girl. They both have their own benefits. Up if you need a quick meal, slow cooker for when you want to cook and the food is ready after work or something
Yep. Available time will dictate which one is more appropriate for the meal time. Kinda like the difference between using a gas grill vs using a charcoal grill. Time, time, time.
Do you deliver?
I just ate a piece of sourdough toast for dinner, (now I feel cheated). lol
😂
Lol, GRANDMA with no teeth could eat that pot roast😂 😂😂😂
7hrs on high or low? Im searing my roast now. Fine time to ask... I'm going with high!
low. but you can also see that the 8hr was udner the low setting
@CamirrasKitchen And DID... 😂 It turned out wonderfully! Thank you, and Happy Holidays!!!
Could you use that tallo for seasoning in a another dish?
yep!! store in the fridge
@@CamirrasKitchen thank you, ma'am
Was it cooked on low or hi in the slow cooker
Low
I add my vegetables during the last two hours.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Even yo grandma with no teeth can eat this" ☠️☠️🤣🤣💯
Damn baby girl beef stew off the hook
I don't drink. What is a good substitute for red wine?
Either a dark beer or beef broth
I have a question - can I do this in Instant pot? why do u use this one? is there a difference?
yes you can. i make instant pot roast all the time. the timing is way quicker though. i think i have done 60 min under pressure. no significant difference to me, just depends on how fast you need the meal done.
Hi again camirra lol, just made again and added fire roasted tomatoes, tried combining 2 recipes, and gravy was delicious, just can fire roasted tomatoes drained 🤷, take care
I will try!
@@CamirrasKitchen yours was so good it inspired me
✌🏽
Did you have a good Christmas? xx
it was wonderful!
Omg all the dog experts 🤦♂️ I’ve lived with dogs my entire life even in another country as well, they eat all kinds of food and lived the longest. However your statement is true but I think the doggie will be just fine. Great upload and I learned all lot from for your vid
i feel you lol. i dont had some dogs and we was feeding them like anything and they was fine. only thing we really dont do is chocolate (esp for our very small dog)
can it be made without carrots?? I hate cooked carrots!
yep just leave them out. i would add extra onion or celery or potato instead
Camirra, where have you been sista
i been here lol i post often
@CamirrasKitchen , I have been looking for your beautiful smile and your beautiful face!!
@@CamirrasKitchen , good to hear from you again
The risk of food contamination is higher when you wash your meat instead of not washing it. I heard that from a bacterial food specialist.
ive heard that too, but tbh its a cultural practice and i probably wont stop 😅
@@CamirrasKitchen I wash my chicken breast lol Habit, more like a tick. So I understand lol
I don’t care what any “experts or specialists “ say, I will ALWAYS wash my poultry, meats, veggies & fruit. 😅😂 My ancestors practiced it and it’s the reason you never hear about food poisoning outbreaks in our communities. Unless we eat outside food prepared by others. Also washing my hands continuously while prepping & cooking food to alleviate cross contamination. That’s the number one thing my mother taught me is important when cooking or baking food. So for those of you who don’t want to wash your meat or poultry, you do you! That’s why we have to be careful about eating other people’s foods! 😅😂❤
I'm so confused! 😩 Half of the 3lb chuck roast recipes I've seen say 7-8hrs on HIGH. The other half say LOW. Is there no difference between the two? If low is the way to go, you'd think all the recipes using high temp would end up looking like a big pot of pureed chilli at the end. Lol...
7-8 highs is way too long i think for a 3lb roast. but i would say experiement on your slow cooker. its always safer in my opinion to go low first.
4 hours high if your short on time OR 7-8 hours low depending on how big your roast is & your appliance since all different brands work differently. High is usually half of the hours you use for your low setting. Food can get overcooked & even burn in a crockpot if it is cooked too long. You can also always Google to find out what setting to use for different meats/poultry too.
Miss Camirra, please do not give that broth or oil to your dogs. Onions, garlic and leeks are toxic for dogs and cats. You can look it up for your self to verify, I know you mean no harm and I'm sure they like it but it is very harmful to their health. Just wanted to let you know. Also the pot roast looks yummy thank you for sharing.
better get the plumber's number on speed dial, I can see the pipes getting plugged up from here.
with a pot roast? lol
Naw, rinsing a raw pot roast won’t cause any clogging! 🤣🙄
please dont mix this broth in with dog food! it contains onions and garlic which are toxic to dogs!
that being said, this recipe looks amazing for humans, i will definitely be trying this recipe out
its the fat, but if you skim it it shouldnt have any pieces of tht in the dish hmmm
That looks too good not to eat. Delish
Doggies shouldn’t have anything with garlic or onions in it.
Didn’t know that hmm. Mine been eating it 😭
Yeah its hard for them to digest. Or chicken bones because they can poke a hole in their intestines.
Also, serving puppies grease can result in diarrhea.
guess my big dog got a gut of steel lol. but i mix small amount with food. not all at one time. like a little over a few days with dry and wet food mixed in
@@CamirrasKitchen I love you channel and the way you make your food. It always looks delicious but I really like how you give people like me, who hate mustard and mayo 😵, other options. 😉 Be blessed and Happy New Year! 😍
To much seasoning 😝
lol not for me. this a huge chunk of meat.
Onions are poison to dogs
someone just told me that. i did not know
I’m sorry but you lost me when you washed that meat. I am a ACF certified executive chef, a CDM, Director of nutrition and food services and a culinary education director. Not only is it not necessary but it can actually be unsafe. Other than that this was great 👍🏼
I don’t care how many letters of the alphabet you have behind your name! Don’t give a damn about your education and research either! It’s a cultural practice to wash out meat/poultry! Just like you have a right to your opinion, so do we! Don’t push your science & titles on others, it’s not necessary! Respect other people’s culture and traditions!
Hi camirra, looks delicious, I'm guilty of liking overdone veggies only in pot roast tho, I let everyone make s plate and leave crockpot on lol. I've forgotten to cook veggies in the roast drippings many times lol, did you know if cook the roux longer til light to darker brown it actually adds flavor, only for rich beef gravy like this, tyvm tc 🍲🥘🥩🌮🍔🧆🍝🍻
Great idea!!
Looks so yummy, i don't like red wine but i may give this a try
