Michael looks like he's going to explode from pure happiness being praised so much by David; this is so precious. Love them both so much and their passion for this show.

He is most definitely my favorite actor, no doubt. He can play such diversity. If it weren't for him I wouldn't have found Sheen & realized the sheer magnitude of his talent, as well. They both have such amazing range. To see them working together is just a recipe for brilliance. David describes the characters but I wonder if he realizes that the two of them have truly brought them to life for us and what a joy it is.

And it's true 😭 even in the 1st episode he is sooooo angry, but he comes back, can't help it. The way he manages to look at his "Angel" the way The Doctor looked at Rose, while being this absolute *demon* is exquisite. Our love for them is ineffable.

I love how they get passionate about how the other plays his character
I absolutely love Terry Pratchett's writing but all adaptations left me so disappointed that I figured the charm of his writing just couldn't be captured onscreen. Until these two actors. They breathe into work something that is uniquely their own. It goes beyond the chemistry between two characters because its magic wraps me up into their dynamic. I feel such joy just watching the two characters together that I'd be happy with a 22-episode series that consisted of nothing more than flashbacks about their relationship while the two of them sat sipping tea and bickering! 😂
I can't imagine anybody else for these roles. They have such good vibes!

What's so lovely about this show is that it Does address big themes but, while doing so, still manages to create and be true to its own universe. A universe which is whimsical, and fun, and yes, sometimes quite emotional. All kudos to these two great actors, the writers and the rest of the team...it seems as if season 2 is going to be a treat of epic proportions!

I like that David says Aziraphale and Crowley are both "infuriated and drawn to each other irrepressibly," though. That's a great way to put it.

This is a great distillation of what makes the characters of Crowley and Aziraphale so compelling to me. As Tennant describes Aziraphale: There's a "learned naivety.... A creature who's existed for millennia who seems constantly surprised about everything." And as Sheen says about Crowley: There's a "kind of decency and a love there" which must be expressed through the "mask of Crowley."
The shared history through thousands of years of being otherwise lonely, and the slight distrust they must maintain as being on opposing "sides," are what give this unusual companionship its strength and interest. I hope that essential core will be maintained and the series doesn't drift into spineless sappiness. There are already plenty of lovers in the world. This fascinating friendship deserves to be developed as such.
Season 2 made my year and it’s not even out yet!! Love David and Michael so much (and Neil!!), so exciteeeed 🎉

I have come to the conclusion that Aziraphale and Crowley are beings different than, and in addition to, are the actors outside of themselves. So amazing and magical. Glad I got to witness this before I died. 'Infuriated and drawn to each other irrepressible'. Amazing ... Now if I could only sleep without them appearing in my dreams every night! What is going on? Um it is always about loving and that is what you need to get to. Is there anything better than this? Okay I keep editing this comment because there is soo much to say, "Through embracing your flaws you reach out to to someone else and that's what connects us'. I have been away from my work/job for three months and upon returning for three days, this is why I am here. the ultimate connection to other people.

We know Crowley is good at his core, we've seen it, it's the more obvious of the two of them, it's the badboy doing good deeds, the thug with a gooey inside . But Aziraphale is devious and conniving at time and but it all goes fuzzy around the edges because he is angelic and sweet thus making his transgression of his archetype less apparent. Their mutual love is so transparent it's silly they skirt the issue but they are an item and they complement each other so well

My headcannon is that when the angels were created they were all halves of a pair. Many of the pairs were separated during the fall, (Crowley and Zira, Gabriel and Beez) Their memories of each other were wiped, but when they meet their CONNECTION is still there! ❤

It is very sad that in Russia this series is popular, but there are not enough translations. I would like to see more interviews with these two and UNDERSTAND, haha. (I used auto-translation). I started making up scenes between these two spontaneously and while washing the dishes one night, I thought of one where Crowley has ordered some hot wings and Aziraphale begins to worry and eventually become horrified at what *kind* of wings they are. I guess it's a bit sick and it makes me giggle every time I think of it. I want to complain that they've charmed me into being a wretch but I already was one. 🦇🪽🍗
