Mercedes w204 seatbelt buckle fault with and airbag light on and got it fixed fault code B005213

In this video I have this Mercedes w204 2007 which has developed a fault and its shown on the drivers display together with the airbag light on. The fault code which relates to this is B005213.
Remember to disconnect the battery before doing any work related to the airbags. Be careful and try not to brake things.

I actually ended up removing the seat bolts and seat bottom cushion off, I didn't remove the seat. That's the easiest way.

Thanks so much. Having the same issue on a CLS at the moment. Randomly the Pre-Safe & Airbag light came up. Traced it to the driver seat belt buckle. Going to replace it and see if it fixes it. Worried it might be the SRS or Airbag module but I think that is just flagging in the system because of the faulty buckle. We will see!
