    Thumbs up, of course. Did the customer noticed that you installed the switch reverse? Or you flipped it over before he/she got the vehicle? :)

    Owk, tomorrow im gonna look at my benz w168 2003 model and see why is not reading safety belts and why srs is there, is it normal for a car to go to limp mode when it has srs light on?

    Can you use that light bulb test to test out any switch circuit to confirm voltage & ground are closing ?

    Great video and very will explained.
    Got Mercedes vito 2013 last week and the wire which connects to the seatbelt buckle plug has been cut for some reason.
    Basically the plug for the seatbelt buckle is there but the plug which comes from the vehicle is missing.
    When I drive keep dingling sound there is no srs light but the light for seatbelt dosen't appear at all on the dashboard.
    I m thinking of removing the plug and connecting the wires wich is brown to blue and green to yellow.
    Sorry for the long post, i hope it makes any sense

      PurePlay ok! can you get the right connector for the seat belt switch?

      Update. I've connected the wires and the srs light came on. The scanner showed faulty seatbelt buckle. I've ordered the buckle and should arrive on Tuesday.

    Hello. I had a friend diagnosed my 2009 sprinter and it said “ driver airbag squib circuit 1 open” do you think it’s the same seatbelt issue ? Thanks

    Ran into not being able to read any hvac data on a 2013 sprinter last week. Front ac cold rear hot. 2 compressors had to check everything manually found pressswitch on the roof stuck at low voltage wouldn’t respond

    It seems that your test light bulb has some resistance but not much as a short to ground was tripped. I believe that the seat belt assy has a higher resistance to prevent the short to ground code, it would have been nice to check the closed circuit switch resistance, next time, thanks for all the great videos THUMBS UP.

    i have this very issue and was debating spending the $120 to find out. Couldn't this test be done with a multimeter? Why the bulb?

    • @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair
      @KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      barkingnomad.darren I prefer using a test light! it helps check the circuit integrity!

    • @DarrenPierson

      Ok but if I don't have probes that small would jumpering the connector do the same thing as running the current through the bulb filament? Am I thinking right?
