Just keeps getting better, have had yearly subscription but didnt know how to use it in the plane, awesome, thanks.
Glad the video was useful.
Great video, I don't use Navigraph but, it's amazing what we can do now. Thank you
Navigraph is fast becoming a must own app for flight sims.
@@Huddison but not as a subscription for me, but you're right
Yep works on my Xbox series x. Been using it with V-jet and H-jet the moving maps feature is so cool. I haven’t noticed any performance issues.
What You don that navigraph working on Your xbox?
Navigraph keeps getting better. I use LNM along with Navigraph. I pay annually to save a little money. It's worth the price.
LNM is above my geek threshold. I do subscribe to Navigraph. I find it easier to use for what I want to do in MSFS.
Navigraph does seem to improve upon each incarnation - always worth for a month or two at least.
Yes, it works with Xbox. At least with some of the G3000-based aeroplanes, such as MG HondaJet. Can import SimBrief flights as well as have telemetry and flight sync with Navigraph charts, running on computer or Android tablet. Have not tested with the G1000 yet.
Apparently it's not implemented in the G1000 on Xbox yet - maybe in SU13 🤞
Great informative video as always!
Most Xbox flyers are probably already aware that some aircraft models require more memory than others. I strongly suspect that Navigraph implementation adds significantly to the memory demand. Hopefully, this will be minimal with the C172 (G1000).
I speak from experience using the Vision Jet (G3000). I can use this model with full Navigraph implementation on Xbox X with no problems. It's very slick indeed! However, on Xbox S, this model has frequent blackouts on the CTDs. It's very annoying to loose all instrumentation including airspeed and altitude in mid flight.
I mention this because as more Xbox aircraft are upgraded to use Navigraph, Xbox flyers may experience similar problems with their favorite aircraft. I don't know if the G1000 models use less memory than G3000 models. Seems like the more functionality an aircraft model has, the more memory is required to operate it. Perhaps the new MSFS/ASOBO app will have better memory management. One can only hope.
I can imagine that the G1000 requires much less computing calculations than something like the Vision Jet.
The Navigraph integration doesn't seem to be implemented yet on Xbox - but I will try to cover it once it is.
@@Huddison I don't know. Every time I watch a "how to" video for the G1000, it seems like a lot more buttons have to be pushed, knobs have to be turned, screens for information and submenus have to be accessed, compared to the G3000's simpler touch screen format. That's a lot of extra rendering that has to be done in the simulation. That has to come at a cost. Figuring climb rates, turn rates and other behind the scenes, fundamental aerodynamic calculations should be the same. I freely admit I am no programmer. Perhaps someone with more expertise will comment below.
As a complete newbie, where would you suggest I start. Im using an XBOX.
Also, does the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Control System have the same features as PC?
Start in what terms?
The Velocity One Flight Yoke & Flightstick performs the same on Xbox as it does on PC.
@Huddison from the complete beginning, such as, controls and different instruments and how to use them
I use skyvector.
Its such a real shame the Just Flight Fokker 28 airliner which has a 550 Garmin was not supplied with a 1000.. I think they would have more sales to this wonderful aircraft...I do know the 28 is a period aircraft but I would not know if in real life the full size aircraft would not be able to be retro fitted with a 1000?
It would be great to have the option of installing other Garmin systems in it.
Thank you. This works great with the "flightsimbuilder G1000" units, I have just tested it, and it all works great.
Great to hear.
Works well with "RealSimGear G1000" as well.
Doesn't seem to work with the C182 with the G1000NXI. Am I missing something?
The C-182 doesn't have the G1000 installed Steve; it has the GNS 530 Garmin system.
This model as the G1000 but is tied to an older Autopilot system and lacks vertical nav mod and is missing knobs that's needed, I guess, for Navigraph. It's like a half-baked G1000. I have another model like this.
I think the pink plane icon is a bit too big
On the moving map? I guess it could be a bit smaller.
No Xbox yet.
Let's hope soon.
Not for us Xbox aviators. 😑
I think they'll get it working on the Xbox platform soon.
I lurched the Navigraph subscription, install via the hub the updates new air rack. Using my iPad I want to build a flight plan should I use simbrief or Navigraph charts to build the Flight?
How doe the flight plan get from the iPad to the garmin3000? My iPad and computer are on the same network and 5 ghz. It seem that sim link is supposed to Handel that. I have been real airplanes since the early 70’s and flying FMS systems since the late 80’s so I understand those. Thank you for help.😁🛫
I typically plan my flights via Simbrief and import them into compatible MSFS aircraft and Navigraph itself.
@@Huddison thank you,
