@StudioGuyMN When I reviewed the Zone 40, I got a lot of comments saying "oh, you should have done THAT game, etc., etc.", so this was the only feasible way, in my opinion, to review all of them.
Nintendo is REALLY gonna whoop Zone's butt. First the red link sprite, The ice mini boss from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and NESS FROM EARTHBOUND OH MY GOSH.
This must have been Jungle soft's revenge against Nintendo for choking the production of the Vii. They teamed up with Zone and replaced the demon rabbits and cats with people, and reused the old Vii games, except for the ones that used tilt or swing sensitivity, then they got Jungletac's 16 bit arcade games and packed them in.
2 other things they stole - in Ladybugs when you lose it shows a sunflower sprite stolen from the Game Boy Advance game "Hamtaro: Rainbow Rescue". Also, Squirrel Bobble not only stole off Puzzle Bobble's concept, but also all of its sounds and high score screen! The main music for Puzzle Bobble still even plays whenever a level begins, when the original sound byte of "Ready...GO!" from PB plays. The level clear music is also played whenever you complete a level, but its shortened.
Did you know that there were a total of EIGHT Zone Consoles: Zone Wireless Gaming, Zone 40, Zone 60, Zone Mini, Zone Fusion (Portable, 30-in-1), Zone 100, Zone 3D, Zone Sega (Zone Console with Licensed Sega games on it)
It looked like there were a few decent games in there, but I like old games. I think it's primarily for small kids. My friend bought one of these for his grand children who are pre-school age and they liked it and had fun with it.
Anyone notice that a couple games like the Fishing and Baseball ones look exactly like the ones on the KenSingTon Vii that Dr. Ashen reviewed except for different characters?
13:54 are those the birds from "Cinderella"? 16:18 a tank from "Metal Slug" 17:03 just about all sprites from "U.N. Squadron" 18:17 jellyfishes , mines and submarines from "Metal Slug"
I know you're trying to be clever by diminishing the usefulness of the "Hollow Plastic Accessories", but when playing golf on the Wii; the golf club actually helps with aiming. It's a visual aid that allows you see whether or not you are applying too much spin to your swing. Plus having an actual paddle allows for custom shots that otherwise would be a hit or miss affair. If there was a bowling ball one I'd agree that it's useless, as I bowl the same on the Wii as in real life with out it.
@TweeterMan287 Lemme guess: you played these games for a bit to see what they were like and to be able to actually get a decent opinion of them, but could only talk about them a bit in your video, which is already over 20 minutes long? That's 60 games you had to talk about, as well as the console itself. In my view the video was great and you did a very good job of reviewing a lot of content. Some people expect way too much.
They Riped the following sprites: Dusters head sprite from mother 3 in the hay bail game Kirby mini boss guy Ness Bunnery from pokemon mystery dungan 2 in the ice climber game
@TechnoBoy301 acuttly sega has now (BUT ITS NOT ZONE 40 OR 60) its called Ringedge or what ever was it called but its sega's if anybody knows more info reply this comment
If you have a kid who really like video games and money is tight could be a viable option. This with 60 games to hold them over till you can afford a major console or a major console that comes with 0-2 games max.
This seems to borrow from the Chintendo Vii a bit, some of the sports are sprite edits of the stupid rabbit mascot from the respective "console" and the "mini-games" are some of the games from the VC the Chintendo Vii had. Interesting...Nice review Tweeterman. : )
I guess people do buy them, since I'd own one if I could find it. Tiger Rescue is the rare shooter that doesn't fill up the screen with bullet hell, and Jewel Fever 2 is a surprisingly well done clone of a respected Neo Geo game. I can provide my own music. ^.^
Fun Fact: The regular Zone 60 (Non-Metallic Edition) is actually incredibly rare. The Metallic Edition was the common release.
Just like with Halo 2
I have one
Hi
I donated this
just so you'd remember
I wish he would make a new video
Ya...
BlinG fuck off idiot you forgot the cables.
@Internet Jerkface Hunter Yeah, that "One search for a cable adapter later...." part was pretty funny.
@StudioGuyMN When I reviewed the Zone 40, I got a lot of comments saying "oh, you should have done THAT game, etc., etc.", so this was the only feasible way, in my opinion, to review all of them.
Nintendo is REALLY gonna whoop Zone's butt.

DUDE YOU FORGOT ABOUT DUSTER FROM MOTHER 3
At the time I never played it. I have now, he's a "moron" with his retarded wall staples.
-Wess 2006 Nintendo of Japan
xD Zone60's creators are evil, they force Duster to get hay bales with his damaged feet D:
On the start screen notice the JungleSoft logo at the bottom? They made the Chintendo Vii (the one that Ashens reviewed)
I don't know why but the way you said "So you get....I don't know, about 1/2 more suck" just made me laugh for like 5 minutes.
12:08 you spin me right round baby right round.
I got the zone 60 for christmas! but the controll wasn't working! The batteries we're in butsomethings worng with the controllers! What do i do?
Does the logo at the top right in Baseball at 9:49 look familiar?
BTW a lot of of the games are ripped from the VG pocket caplet (a differently shaped vg pocket with more games). could they be from the same company?
i need help! when i click start on the menu it only has a list of the interactive games idk how to find the arcade games?
is that guy in the falling box game duster from mother 3? 15:42
Isn't the battery door screw made out of metal?
Wasn't squirrel bobble also on the KenSingTon Vii?
In that blue platformer games tiles were recolored and taken from Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (a game which uses those tiles for castle levels).
Also this console and the zone mini were sold in my local smyths store. And knuxfan24 your console was also sold in my local game store.
You are wrong, Ashens reviewed the KenSingTon Vii, not the Chintendo one.
yeah it's the third version, I have the original first Zone, just called the Zone, it's white and has red LED light blinking at the top
I think the top-down racing game you were thinking of at 15:29 was Super Sprint.
Wow, I just watched one of your old videos and I never even noticed how much your voiced changed, congrats!
15:57 Is that Duster?
@valentin865
its the tennis racket at an angle.
it does look like an EXTREMELY thick bat though
It is. The mine seen at 18:16 is from the Metal Slug games as well.
Oh god... AtGames used this EXACT design for a Megadrive on a chip.
The Lightning Plan and Squirrel Bobble mini games are on the Vii.
6:00 grip the controller firmly to avoid sliping XD
Jacob Stack Firmly grasp it
Patrick: FIRMLY GRASP IT!!!
THROB THE CONTROLLER! SHAKE IT!
2 other things they stole - in Ladybugs when you lose it shows a sunflower sprite stolen from the Game Boy Advance game "Hamtaro: Rainbow Rescue".

Jewel Master 2 and Squirrel Bobble are actually from the Vii (Ashen's review)
Tetris DS had Balloon Fight music in one of the six modes. The difference is Tetris DS is a good game, while they made a god awful clone.
Those mini games were on the VC cartridges for the Vii. The Chinese strike again with the same old stuff. :D
Did you know that there were a total of EIGHT Zone Consoles: Zone Wireless Gaming, Zone 40, Zone 60, Zone Mini, Zone Fusion (Portable, 30-in-1), Zone 100, Zone 3D, Zone Sega (Zone Console with Licensed Sega games on it)
Jewell Master 2 and Lightning Plan were both on the Sport Vii that Ashens reviewed, but I'm sure you knew that already.
As I notice, many games have copyright infringement written all over it.
in ice climber, i think those creatures are bunarys(bunaries)from pokemon(and i think i spelled the pokemon's name wrong)
13:35 is that background from Disney's Cinderella?
@seganerd89 So what about other things from sega like The Nomad or Game Gear?? Or the Learning console like The Pico?
@cutemimi25
Actually, I meant the Chintendo Vii, that was Ashens' version, but I think I was wrong. :_
@ashketchum602 Actually for 60 you can get a wii with super mario galaxy
I have this lastest console zone 60 at 2017 and some how is gone idk but i wish i can get this lastest console back
It looked like there were a few decent games in there, but I like old games. I think it's primarily for small kids. My friend bought one of these for his grand children who are pre-school age and they liked it and had fun with it.
Getting 1000 points in basketball makes everybody gasp!
The adapter for hooking the Zone 60 to the wall is very identical to my Samsung Impression phone. :O
15:44
Was that Duster from Mother 3?!
has anyone notice that 18:17 rabbids dream or whatever underwater bomb in the middle screen is from metal slug.
Is that a Buneary?
Anyone notice that a couple games like the Fishing and Baseball ones look exactly like the ones on the KenSingTon Vii that Dr. Ashen reviewed except for different characters?
I saw the zone 60 at CVS as well as some mini zone models
the sound when you select a game, they ripped that sound from Utopia sound theme from Windows 98
17:40 lol at the maplestory snails
The guy from "Hay Bail", I'm pretty sure was edited from Mother 3's Duster. Look up the sprites and tell me I'm making that up.
8:41 That sound is from the NES' Megaman games, when Megaman lands after a jump.
13:54 are those the birds from "Cinderella"?
16:18 a tank from "Metal Slug"
17:03 just about all sprites from "U.N. Squadron"
18:17 jellyfishes , mines and submarines from "Metal Slug"
Can this play COD: BO and Crysis?
I know you're trying to be clever by diminishing the usefulness of the "Hollow Plastic Accessories", but when playing golf on the Wii; the golf club actually helps with aiming. isnt deep storm's (mini game) enemy ufo the one from wii play shooting game ?
should i sell my wii and get x-box kinect
On the Ice Climber, thats the Buneary Sprite you have to do dodge... fantastic.
can you review the plug and play controler from walgreens.
How did his voice change soooo much in some videos?
I have a zone 60!
15:45 is that duster from mother 3!!! It is well the face is
Duster just wanted another job then he repaired his leg and started to pile off hay bales XD
Thanks a lot. It helped me a lot. I was looking for my little cousin brother who is turning 6. Thanks again.
to the left at 12:00 it shows a wiimote instead of a zone 60
you did you not read the fine print in the instructions? (Enjoyment not included) good review man :)
@bmcj199 i know i mean they really had the diginity to rip off the sprite for a game which wasnt realeased out side of japan?
hey is it just me or do the enemies from ice climber look like buneary from pokemon
15:43 Is that Duster from Mother 3 in a postman's outfit?
Wait, he wouldn´t have been able to use the av cables anyway, because they are audio out only, nice replacement there
Ashens reviewed the KenSingTon Vii, not the Chintendo Vii.
This Zone series MUST be a sequel to the Vii. Even Lightning Plan is exactly the same. Also, several of the games use Jazz Jackrabbit sprites...
Metallic refers to metallic paint( you seen on cars...)
When are you going to talk about the "32 bit" graphics that you said you would.
15:45
D-Duster?
WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU?
It seems that this a few sound effects and music from the vii.
Didn't take out the tennis attachment
Anyone notice that many of the sports games look exactly like the ones on the KenSingTon Vii that Dr. Ashen reviewed except for different characters?
The guy you play in hay bail is duster from mother 3 but with differnt clothes !
Some people expect way too much.
wow... I have a plug and play thing with some of those mini games on it
My fav games up here are Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Fishing (2p), Mission, and Ball Blaster.
a lot of the were on the extra game card that came w/ the kensington vii that Ashen reviewed
The snails in Mr. Onion look exactly like the ones from Maple Story.
Why can i only watch this in 240p? its already been 4 hours since uploaded
okay... I have to give you a thumbs up for the review just for the end of the video... that was pretty funny guy.
18:22 There's a Chomp from Donkey Kong Country in the water background.
"Okay, i guess they want me to lose." - Ian 2010
Nostalgic asf 😭 I got this when I couldn’t have a wii
Battery doors with screws-
for when you've had a recent battery robbery in your town!
They Riped the following sprites:
Dusters head sprite from mother 3 in the hay bail game
Kirby mini boss guy
Ness
Bunnery from pokemon mystery dungan 2 in the ice climber game
You are so correct. The Zone 40 just shows how much JungleTac has no pride.
The snails in Mr. Onion are sprites from MapleStory.
@StudioGuyMN a 360 game cost 50-60 bucks per game, this thing is 40 bucks for the entire console
i see a big difference
@TechnoBoy301 acuttly sega has now (BUT ITS NOT ZONE 40 OR 60) its called Ringedge or what ever was it called but its sega's if anybody knows more info reply this comment

you know, if anything, it's a neat little formfactor that would useful for someone who was into doing hacks and mods.
The game motor rally's music sounds like one of the song raise the fighting spirit from the Naruto ost.
Zone 60 Baseball is EXACTLY like the Sport Vii one, except with different sprites
