Something similar hapend to me on that map (I wasn't the one who was stuck). I just stayed near the cap circle and waited to give my alies a chanse to pick up some demage. Since they couldn't and (smartly) gave up i entered the cap and we won.

Best example of a lemming train I have ever seen was on wows. My entire team followed me to i7 behind an island. The enemy team simply took all the caps and then a Japanese DD skirted the group, who by this point we're still hiding and chat was on fire with people complaining (and constant "X has caused damage to ally"). Japanese DD must have wet his pants, as he fired all the torps he could into the crowd and scored at least 4 kills. I WISH I had replays activated!
A recent WoWs match has me taking a break from the game. I sail out in my New Mexico trying to get to the front. A Leander gets spotted and is broad side to me. As the guns draw bead it disappears in its smoke. However, the shots fly true and 3 cits delete the poor Leander and I get a first blood award. Great start to the match. When the scoring was done, I have the only kill on my team and nearly 3 times more XP than the 2nd place ship. To be honest, I could quickly see what was going to happen and spent 1/2 the match in chat with the opposing team having a laugh at the match.

18:50, the Spaghetti pointed its gun right at that bush. Only reason to do that would be if an enemy LT suddenly popped up there, which meant he had to be spotted. Who needs 6th sense when you’ve got two Mk.1 eyeballs!
And if you don't keep the fire wall in check, sometimes a virus infects the system and causes the closing apparatus to clog up with nasty grime. Had that during the past two weeks of operation. Mk.1 eyeball malfunction is nasty stuff. Funny thing though: you combat that malfunction with tea, yes camomile tea - helps the hinges move again.
37:48 I don't know, it seems like most the times I've won a Kolobanov's medal it's partly because I favor my Matilda as my primary tank, but mostly, I have to admit, it's just as much or more because the enemy of the moment is brain-dead. You cannot overestimate the effects of stupidity in this game.
Never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake, as the saying goes. I never served, but having learned late in life that I have a knack for at least theoretical tactics, I've done a lot of learning. It's my opinion that what separates great commanders from good ones is merely how often they do mind-bendingly stupid things, because they all do stupid things, or guess wrong, or have bad luck. Look at some of the incredibly dumb shit Napoleon did. And I mean in his VICTORIES. I talked to a former officer who said he was taught to keep his own mistakes to a minimum, and always find a way to offer the enemy a chance to do something stupid, because of how often they would leap on that chance. Of course he also said that if you had the chance to truly stand in your enemy's shoes, it rarely looked stupid from the other side. The quiet part hardly needs to be said out loud, I've always thought that little gem likely did much to separate the smart from the average all by itself.
Assault mode on the Great Wall map (2nd game) is so badly designed that the strategy of all going to the same side is actually a good idea. Have to push though.
I was watching that second game, the one with TheISFanatic fighting the entire enemy team, and I thought friendly arty must have been jizzing their pants at the sight of all those targets clustered together. Then I saw the results screen and one of them only did 47 damage... *facepalm*

Jingles if you could use that video in the next mingles with jingles and some of the best videos in your opinion some time as well. The terrain, I learned the other day, have been changed on the hill of Prokhorovka. So you are not that safe the further towards the red line you are anymore, as you once were. Through my time of playing I have learned that the middle and the hill are closely linked. Couldn't reach the city without being shot from the hill, and couldn't get to the hill without being shot from the city or the middle-ridge. BUT! My time playing this game, have taught me something else. "Open flanks, invites enemy tanks"; if you leave one flank open, you can be more than sure, that it's that flank the enemy will rush you down from. Haven't managed often at least to be the rushing side, running down open or rather poorly covered flanks, with my allies. Mostly, it have been my team leaving/screwing certain positions. Enough to win? -Nope! And yup! Some players *are* really that stupid. You wouldn't have mentioned it, Jingles, if it wasn't to be
Agreed Miss Jensen Wise words indeed. Some people are very rigid when they enter battle; regardless of game mode and or start location, they go to the spot, they know and love, which can lead to lemming trains.

In some of the situations, you are mentioning here, that could just as well lead to a team being spread all over the map, way off distance to assist eachother. Lemming-train, is rather a misunderstood strategy, of the power of guns firing together. In a lemming train, well, Jingles did explain it fine in the video himself, but your team's few tanks are together, but shoot on each their targets, and are being frozen to the ground. In stead of focus their fire, on one target at the time and keep as many allies in the battle as possible. It is a challenge even in random battles, but it's not impossible. Looking far enough back among the tanks-videos, there is a fine example of what real teamwork in a random team is. I dare, (grab a talk with me if you want out there) to say that those claiming it being impossible, are those very same who would refuse trying things out. They block for a lot of things in their minds. In stead of trying it out, they let their habbit, and experience talk. (This could bite my butt!)
@@mariannejensen349 okay, thank you for the reply correcting my mistake. Watching clan wars is watching this game as its best as you want random battles to be: communication; team work; tactics. In random battles, everyone you spawn next to and against has their own agendas (mission, trying out new things, new players etc) one can try to motivate/guide/help the team in random teams but it's not likely to happen that often from my experience, however, sometimes you are lucky enough to spawn with a team willing to work together, this can definitely win you the battle and even a new friend to play with if you platoon with them. So, yes, I agree it's not impossible for sure! "where there is a will, there is a way"

BUT, a "good player" for me at least, is one capable of fitting his plan into the newest player's plans. To adjust it, recognize the played tactic, and react to what is seen going on. For example like we just saw in the replay on Prokhorovka. Had the other tanks went along with the E5, there would have been way stronger firepower against the enemy, and he would maybe have survived. Had they seen it and recognized and reacted to it, as in taking active action and move along, that is what good players are capable of, the way I see it.
@@mariannejensen349 Well said I agree after watching the good players' I noticed this skill in action :) It's not a easy task to calculate all the scenarios you've mentioned and execute the plan during the battle kudos to the players who can do this so effectively and consistently .. From personal exp' i've made both excellent and disastrous decisions in the heat of the battle; It's a valid reason tankers enjoy to this game for the 'knife edge' moments when you have to make split-second decisions that can either be glorious or dangerous and you learn from it become a better player. E.g. Do i fall back to cap defend or push, do i support my heavy tanks, or defend etcetc. I will bid you a great night of tanking it's been a privilege hearing your point of views good luck using the knowledge you so clearly have out there.

Cliff has a couple of weird spots where the terrain just does not let you go where you want. Last month in an M41 I was hugging the southern ledge to get under an enemy conway's gun (located on that hill on the south). I was a good distance from the ledge but the tank just slid down the slope anyway, ended up inside the terrain. Had 1/5 of the team yelling at me to do more even though I couldn't move and we won 15-3. Some people just prefer to be toxic than play I guess. As for the LT432. Historically an MBT, gently massaged to fit a tier 8 light role. Armor, camo, speed, what could go wrong? Those things remind me of the E25, once they are double bushed they can out-spot you even in a good view range vehicle and just keep firing until you're dead. Even tier 8 TD's need to be careful where they aim at those things, which isn't easy considering how small and fast they are. Just another premium that is better than the tech tree tank. Super test has a couple more tanks in the same situation...
Any time I hear that "horse to water" phrase these days I keep thinking back to that scene from Red Dwarf season 11. "What's that saying? You can lead a hearse to water, but you can't make it sink!"
The only complaints I usually have with these videos is how short they are. At 40 minutes I can make a nice cup of tea, sit back and really enjoy the mayhem, thanks Jingles from a happy Canuck.
I see they have found the Spitfire in the Norwegian mountains as reported in the newspaper today. One of 500 lightweight spitfire stripped of everything to fly long distance. Alastair Gunn of the 626 Squadron was caught by the Nazi's and executed for trying to escape ( Ther Greast escape film was partly based on him). The reason why 70% of the plane was still in tact was because it took a shallow landing in a peaty bog covered with snow. It was shot down by two Messerschmitt 109 fighters. It was hit by 200 bullets and 20 cannon rounds and still survived the crash relatively intact. The place in Norway where it crashed is covered in snow most of the year. He only had a camera unit on board to take picks of the German battleship which you know Tirpitz with its 15 inch guns. I did not know that the Tirpitz was 2000 tonnes heavier than the Bismarck. keep up the good work Jingles …. Burleigh

While watching the IS-3 part I was surprised you didn’t mention the T95 at 10:30. That poor poor guy stuck in base while all the enemies where in the bottom corner.
I've been in the position of that last guy in the water before on the same map. I was in a T21 and over-shot the corner when flanking a HT and crashed into a rock, the game glitched some of my track into the rock and anchored me in place for the rest of the game. My team were angry at first but saw the funny side eventually when they realised I honestly couldn't do anything about it.
Anyone else have a good, hearty chuckle at the way that Obj 268 4 suicides? Rams the dead tank husk sending it flying into the water, Obj dies, then his husk goes flying into the water as well...man that was great.
Darn, I thought with the amount of time life that my UDES replay of backward-speed shenanigans made it. Still, I can see why the RHM replay tops that. That's one of those clips where you can show someone and say "this is World of Tanks."
Years ago, I remember playing world of tanks with the really nice asia maps, I was in my teir 4 Stuart just having fun low teir playing. I was heading up the left road, by myself enjoying the scenery as I noticed we hadn't spotted any enemies. I spoke to my platoon mates who consisted of a Sherman III and a KV-1, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if they were all camping this road?" All of a sudden, the game froze. When it came to my tank was dead, 15 spots. The literal entire enemy team spotted in 3 seconds.
from 38:07 to end was the most hilarious part.....i am literally chocked by laughing....and the great comedy of dear Jingles..."do u feel lucky punks... well do u???"

That situation with the Rhm almost happened to me, an allie got pushed down a similar location by a E75 and did not die, but the other team had a member who won by capping. I spoke with the enemies and they were screaming "off cap kill all" unfortunately we could have had another great ending :/

That last battle was unreal....though I'm vaguely reminded of a Kolobanov's I won on the old Northwest map where four heavy tanks neither came for me nor attempted to cap while I capped out.
Was about to play the first few seconds of "Careless Whisper" thinking that jingles has hidden explicit naked TOG II clips within his video when he deleted it, only to be disappointed when I read the description.

Didn't in a previous video a year or 2/3 ago you uploaded a video of an afk kv5 winning a colobanovs medal on the map that the French tanks were 11 in number on assault.. . Jingles if you could use that video in the next mingles with jingles and some of the best videos in your opinion some time as well. @Mr. Trox Nah, this is a well-known end game spot to do what the guy did. He probably also did that well in advance of being 1 vs 5, hence his team being annoyed with how he played.

- One guess, Jingles, or rather 2-in-1. Bushes are like graphic circles, on the map. Wargaming as a concern/company, have made a video on the spotting mechanics, about viewpoints, and other points of the vehicle, where you get spotted, or can spot. The terrain, I learned the other day, have been changed on the hill of Prokhorovka. So you are not that safe the further towards the red line you are anymore, as you once were.
Through my time of playing I have learned that the middle and the hill are closely linked. Couldn't reach the city without being shot from the hill, and couldn't get to the hill without being shot from the city or the middle-ridge. BUT! My time playing this game, have taught me something else. "Open flanks, invites enemy tanks"; if you leave one flank open, you can be more than sure, that it's that flank the enemy will rush you down from. Haven't managed often at least to be the rushing side, running down open or rather poorly covered flanks, with my allies. Mostly, it have been my team leaving/screwing certain positions.
Enough to win? -Nope!
And yup! Some players *are* really that stupid.

Agreed Miss Jensen Wise words indeed. Some people are very rigid when they enter battle; regardless of game mode and or start location, they go to the spot, they know and love, which can lead to lemming trains.
@@StevieCEmpireofUnitedGaming Not all the times, that alone leads to lemming trains. In some of the situations, you are mentioning here, that could just as well lead to a team being spread all over the map, way off distance to assist eachother. Lemming-train, is rather a misunderstood strategy, of the power of guns firing together. In a lemming train, well, Jingles did explain it fine in the video himself, but your team's few tanks are together, but shoot on each their targets, and are being frozen to the ground. In stead of focus their fire, on one target at the time and keep as many allies in the battle as possible. It is a challenge even in random battles, but it's not impossible. Looking far enough back among the tanks-videos, there is a fine example of what real teamwork in a random team is. I dare, (grab a talk with me if you want out there) to say that those claiming it being impossible, are those very same who would refuse trying things out. They block for a lot of things in their minds. In stead of trying it out, they let their habbit, and experience talk. (This could bite my butt!)
@@mariannejensen349 okay, thank you for the reply correcting my mistake. Watching clan wars is watching this game as its best as you want random battles to be: communication; team work; tactics. In random battles, everyone you spawn next to and against has their own agendas (mission, trying out new things, new players etc) one can try to motivate/guide/help the team in random teams but it's not likely to happen that often from my experience, however, sometimes you are lucky enough to spawn with a team willing to work together, this can definitely win you the battle and even a new friend to play with if you platoon with them.
So, yes, I agree it's not impossible for sure! "where there is a will, there is a way"
@@StevieCEmpireofUnitedGaming Indeed. And sure, random battles and clan-wars are two different things, types of games. BUT, a "good player" for me at least, is one capable of fitting his plan into the newest player's plans. To adjust it, recognize the played tactic, and react to what is seen going on. For example like we just saw in the replay on Prokhorovka. Had the other tanks went along with the E5, there would have been way stronger firepower against the enemy, and he would maybe have survived. Had they seen it and recognized and reacted to it, as in taking active action and move along, that is what good players are capable of, the way I see it.
@@mariannejensen349 Well said I agree after watching the good players' I noticed this skill in action :) It's not a easy task to calculate all the scenarios you've mentioned and execute the plan during the battle kudos to the players who can do this so effectively and consistently .. From personal exp' i've made both excellent and disastrous decisions in the heat of the battle; It's a valid reason tankers enjoy to this game for the 'knife edge' moments when you have to make split-second decisions that can either be glorious or dangerous and you learn from it become a better player. E.g. Do i fall back to cap defend or push, do i support my heavy tanks, or defend etcetc.
I will bid you a great night of tanking it's been a privilege hearing your point of views good luck using the knowledge you so clearly have out there.

Cliff has a couple of weird spots where the terrain just does not let you go where you want. Last month in an M41 I was hugging the southern ledge to get under an enemy conway's gun (located on that hill on the south). I was a good distance from the ledge but the tank just slid down the slope anyway, ended up inside the terrain. Had 1/5 of the team yelling at me to do more even though I couldn't move and we won 15-3. Some people just prefer to be toxic than play I guess.
As for the LT432. Historically an MBT, gently massaged to fit a tier 8 light role. Armor, camo, speed, what could go wrong? Those things remind me of the E25, once they are double bushed they can out-spot you even in a good view range vehicle and just keep firing until you're dead. Even tier 8 TD's need to be careful where they aim at those things, which isn't easy considering how small and fast they are. Just another premium that is better than the tech tree tank. Super test has a couple more tanks in the same situation...
Any time I hear that "horse to water" phrase these days I keep thinking back to that scene from Red Dwarf season 11. "What's that saying? You can lead a hearse to water, but you can't make it sink!"

I see they have found the Spitfire in the Norwegian mountains as reported in the newspaper today. One of 500 lightweight spitfire stripped of everything to fly long distance. Alastair Gunn of the 626 Squadron was caught by the Nazi's and executed for trying to escape ( Ther Greast escape film was partly based on him). The reason why 70% of the plane was still in tact was because it took a shallow landing in a peaty bog covered with snow. It was shot down by two Messerschmitt 109 fighters. It was hit by 200 bullets and 20 cannon rounds and still survived the crash relatively intact. The place in Norway where it crashed is covered in snow most of the year. He only had a camera unit on board to take picks of the German battleship which you know Tirpitz with its 15 inch guns. I did not know that the Tirpitz was 2000 tonnes heavier than the Bismarck. keep up the good work Jingles …. Burleigh

While watching the IS-3 part I was surprised you didn’t mention the T95 at 10:30. That poor poor guy stuck in base while all the enemies where in the bottom corner.
The first WOT vid I ever watched, Totally ort it have subbed ever since
I've been in the position of that last guy in the water before on the same map. I was in a T21 and over-shot the corner when flanking a HT and crashed into a rock, the game glitched some of my track into the rock and anchored me in place for the rest of the game. My team were angry at first but saw the funny side eventually when they realised I honestly couldn't do anything about it.

Darn, I thought with the amount of time life that my UDES replay of backward-speed shenanigans made it. Still, I can see why the RHM replay tops that. That's one of those clips where you can show someone and say "this is World of Tanks."
Years ago, I remember playing world of tanks with the really nice asia maps, I was in my teir 4 Stuart just having fun low teir playing. I was heading up the left road, by myself enjoying the scenery as I noticed we hadn't spotted any enemies. I spoke to my platoon mates who consisted of a Sherman III and a KV-1, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if they were all camping this road?" All of a sudden, the game froze. When it came to my tank was dead, 15 spots. The literal entire enemy team spotted in 3 seconds.
Jimgles all I've seen I rule zero out as a possibility anything can happen. Often the most obscure possible thing DOES
from 38:07 to end was the most hilarious part.....i am literally chocked by laughing....and the great comedy of dear Jingles..."do u feel lucky punks... well do u???"

That situation with the Rhm almost happened to me, an allie got pushed down a similar location by a E75 and did not die, but the other team had a member who won by capping. I spoke with the enemies and they were screaming "off cap kill all" unfortunately we could have had another great ending :/
