Just found this video. My favorite faction in Star Wars has always been the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Love seeing content on them.
Same, for me seeing any other faction is so boring and i just dont watch, CIS all the wayyyy
I like the republic only for the voice overs and the victory theme. "Ow was it something I said?" "Knock It off" "watch those wrist rockets!"
@@captainamerica7800 I like enjoying all of the factions. Only voice line I felt was out of place was “That’s a point for the CIS, da*n!” I dunno. Wasn’t jiving it.
@reflectionself5595 yeah. I think overall I prefer the republic. The class options seemed cooler to me. Loved the jet packs. The automatic quick round with the red suited troopers. Always got so excited as a kid when I got that one unlocked.
I'm currently playing the EA version of this game, honestly it's super fun. But it's definitely lacking a lot of things from the original. Like Grevious using 4 lightsabers with regular Melee attacks, Jedi and heroes being absent, which I'm sure they were trying to keep even for each Era.
No Geonosians, Gungans, or Gammorians.
Not a whole lot of battle tanks and rides. Enemy monsters like the ones on Feluca And maps like Mustafar and Couresaunt being absent. And those were awesome maps.
EA version: Lacks the freedom to explore the maps because it only allows you to be in one location when assigned to the next objective. You respawn by selecting a player or default, CIS voices are terrible and don't fall apart when killed by a Jedi or shot. Less Vehicles, less Jedi and sith characters, Slow speed of capturing the CP, When you run away from the selected CP it counts as out of bounds, etc
OG version: Freedom to roam around the maps as you choose, having more than one CP to choose which one to capture first. You respawn by selecting one of the captured command posts if you don't want to be too far from your friends, and of course the iconic sounds of the badass voices of CIS and the voices of the republic when killed, along with CIS shattering into pieces when shot sometimes, more jedi and sith characters, more vehicles, out of bounds being out of the map than just being away from the CP location, etc.
I didn't want to say too much so just wanted to put it out there that the OG will always be better than the new imo.
I like them droid and clone voice's better in this one.

Love the droids, I almost always pick them because the droideka is excellent and I like their designs.

The only problem with the og BF2 was not being able to choose your hero. Heroes were assigned to certain planets and you can only play as them, otherwise it's a great game.

I'm currently trying to beat Dark Reign of the Empire on Elite and it ain't happening.
I beat it recently; which planet are you having trouble with? Polis Massa was the hardest for me but if you run past the enemy rebels and take 1-2 command posts on the opposite side of the map it’s an easy win
That’s why I never do elite it’s too damn hard

Never understood their choice of heroes in some planets. Pretty sure he's never been to dagobah. Vader would make just a tiny bit more sense. Just a tiny bit.

Did you know that if you hold down the fire attack button after Maul does his attack, he does an extra move? 🫢
