Just picked up a pair and I imagine it is due to the 90s coming out in 1990 so it is 32nd Celebration of Air Max 90s, but also 35th anniversary of Air Max.
Ive noticed these aren't selling that well at all, I wonder why, theres just something off about the way they look, cant wrap my head around it..they almost look too "clunky" in the front in a way and dont have that streamlined feel like the others do, also if I got some i'd probably bleach and brighton the denim part to match the white more, but thats just me...... lol who knows..maybe it is the white parts like you said..
I think it’s that there’s sections you’d expect to be the normal AM90 material, but it’s actually embroidered. The badge in the back and the hot green swoosh outline are all embroidered and that’s kind of a love or hate IMO.
