Ugh you overall aesthetic and vibe is so nice! Adeline is my favorite, i have always liked Addy because I read her story's when I was younger! (And I remeber het stories more than the other AG stories I read when I was little😅)

I was born in '93 and BOY did they take me back to my childhood. I read them with my 4 year old and it was so fun to see her reaction to the "olden days" that her mom lived in ;)

Thank you for the sweet comment! An awesome perk to having a diverse collection is that my daughters are get to see the beauty in all skin tones, hair types, etc through playing with them. For example, for Lunar New Year we dressed Ivy in her traditional outfit and learned about the holiday.

She has definitely been a fun custom to make! My next step will be to develop a wardrobe for her. So far, I have some Kit and Claudie items.

Great suggestion! I was just thinking about making a video to show off some of her work. I even have a toddler sized Kirsten dress she made.

Thank you! I'm so happy with the Gabriela I was able to find. I had been looking for SO long and finally got lucky on Mercari! It's interesting how much variation there was with that doll between face mold and face paint.

What a beautiful collection. I love your Juliet doll. I recently started coming across American Girl content, and decided to get back into AG again for the first time since childhood. Part of why has been to help me process and cope with the grief of my own grandmother's death. She was also a doll collector, too. She passed away in 2022, and we were extremely close, so it's been rough. I've not done any customizations, though I want to start. I'd been thinking of making a custom of her for my mother (her oldest daughter) for a birthday present, and then I saw your video. What a lovely tribute to your grandmother. Thanks for sharing your beautiful collection.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I’m right there with you on coping with my grandmother’s death through the dolls. My grandma also passed away in 2022 and it has been such a devastating loss. I’m sorry you have been dealing with that too. I hope you enjoy making a custom of her. It may help make you feel connected to her.

I'm so glad you're here! Thank you so much for subscribing and leaving such a sweet comment. My Grandma was a teacher and a historian, so luckily she wrote plenty of books that I will be able to look at for character inspiration, now that I can no longer ask her.
Just stumbled on this video because I somehow didn't realize you started an AGTube despite following you on Insta. Really loved this video and seeing all your dolls! All my dolls videos are my favs; I love hearing about the "whys" of a doll. I adore your Magnolia, but I'm also biased - TM112 is one of the only TMs I own because she's just so stunning. Ahh yes, that makes sense! My grandma always wanted Felicity because she had red hair just like her, but she never ended up purchasing her. Part of me wants to get Felicity for that reason.. but I really don't know if I have an interest in having dolls from that era.
Yeah, she might stick out in your collection. You could always style her however you want, I guess!

Thank you so much! It’s a hard choice. Both have lookalikes in the Truly Me line, but those lookalikes have different skin tones (20 and 25 / 30 and 35). If I had to choose one it would be Makena but you really can’t go wrong either way ❤

How to choose a favourite doll is such a challenge here because each doll has a story as you've told, so if I consider everything, it is even more difficult. So I will just choose a doll that really stayed in my mind the longest at the end of the video. Usually I would simply have chosen Lea. But in this case I choose Abigail Hoffman. 💕💙🛹
