Oh my gosh, I can't decide on the most beautiful view - the sunset over the Virgin River or the fog the next morning over the same river... all breathtaking. Safe travels dear Brian. Greetings from downunder 🙏🧡ps. Hubby just loved the pic of you enjoying your toastie under the shade of a cactus. Bliss!
Yes, home is where you find it! Maybe another option is putting word out to subscribers you're looking for a temporary private camp area with perhaps access to electric for an agreed upon fee. Probably be cheaper than staying at a full service campground with loud noise and constant traffic. Peace and quiet = all good!
That’s exactly the way I do my grilled cheese! I’ve watched you ever since you left California. A big Kelly fan to. By the way I’m a 75 year old great grandma, you never know who you might touch with your videos.
I've actually been looking at Nevada as a retirement home. I've been in Wyoming for 35 years, but am getting tired of the winters and a few other issues. I was looking at the ghost towns and other areas north of Vegas. Drove through Calliente many years ago. My sister and her husband have camped outside of Pahrump. They really like it.
@@bryanmathew2079 We are having an unusually warm December. I've been here 35 years and usually it starts getting cold in October, I've seen Halloween with a foot of snow and 5 degrees. We have some breaks until January and then winter comes in and beats us up with weeks of barely above zero and many roads closed due to high wind blowing snow across the highways and interstates causing terribly hazardous conditions. By April it starts to warm up, but I have seen it snow into June. Spent several Father's days shoveling snow. Thankfully it melts quicker.
I have been watching you for a couple years now and I never get tired of the views and spots you find for all of us to enjoy. Keep doing your thing and mahalo for taking us along with you on your journey.
Love the VR gorge. I drove it several times at night. The first time I drove it in the day light I could barely keep my eyes on the road. Just beautiful....
Brian, I used an RV park in Amargosa Valley. It is close to Pahrump and still in Nye County. It was very reasonable. I paid for a one month yet only stayed at the park for two days! It's worked out well. I believe it was called Amargosa RV Park, right off US-95.
I love Amargosa Valley! I drove truck dedicated for a year and spent many a night at the truckstop and look forward to going there for free camping as well.
Hey Brian... Bryan here, thanks for giving me a shout out in this video...much appreciated! A couple days after I met up with you - I found a place to stay in Hildale, UT. Great people that are allowing me to stay with them and work as a volunteer maintenance worker for their building. Very fortunate to have stumbled upon it! I'll be allowed to reside here until my St. George housing kicks in, or I get my SSDI. Anyway, looks like your making progress in your travels, that's great! It was a pleasure to meet you, and maybe someday we'll run into each other again ✌🏽 Stay warm and safe out there brother!
This high desert terrain is what attracted me to your channel back in late 2019. My grandparents homesteaded some acreage in the high desert in Southern California about 70 years ago, and the cabin they built has been a family vacation spot for all of my life. I love the rocky mountainous views and the sage brush and the coyotes and rabbits, and especially the Joshua trees! I enjoy all your content, but especially when you return to the desert Southwest.
Excellent photography, I love seeing your rig in the photos for perspective. I’ve heard that a touch of mustard to the butter adds to a perfect grilled cheese.
Brian check out the Rv campground in Amargosa Valley. It was 240 for 30 days..3years ago. Let me know if you need more info. Btw we are camping just a little ways up from you...😊
Next time you do a grilled cheese sandwich, try bacon with it. So a layer of cheese, a layer of streaky bacon, a layer of tomato and top it with another layer of cheese. The top layer of cheese should melt through the tomato. That’s how I like mine. Thanks for having me along for the ride.
Brian, Welcome to the neighborhood. Been living in Clark County, NV since 1982. I hope you'll find a good place to stay here. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Having lived in Las Vegas for over 38 years, and now living south of Reno, I identified with your camera work. A reminder of why I moved away from Las Vegas...LOL!!! I had an old friend who lived in the area where I presently live and he would go down to the Southern Nevada deserts for several months each winter for the warmer weather. Go figure?...LOL...
Really enjoyed this one Brian...beautiful views and terrain the whole video. Interested in hearing more about the residency process. Safe travels my friend I've yet to meet 😎 ✌️
There is a small RV park there in Nye County where you can stay. That chick, Carolyn who has an RV channel stayed there when she changed her residence to Nye. Contact her or Bob Wells they can help you.
I was just here a few weeks ago. Very strong cellular signals and very convenient to town although the Walmart is the south end it's still convenient. Overall it's a great place to stay for a night or even a week.
When what to my wandering eyes should appear Another adventure with Brian finally is here😅! I just love your videos and you were my first channel I found on TH-cam that I subscribed to and to this day, still my #1!!!❤
You're so beautiful. Thank you so much Brian for sharing this beautiful trip. I don't know if it is my phone what? I could barely hear this either your volume was not loud enough or something is wrong with my phone. I kept checking the volume. But I did finally able to listen holding the phone closely. Thank you so much.
Hi Brian, nice to see you again. The scenery is just awesome. I enjoy your stills so much. Your grilled cheese sounded so nice and crispy, just the way I Like it. I hope you are able to find a campground for the time you need it. Safe travels, your friend, Louise
We are nevada residents. Just to let you know, if you register your car in nevada, when you have to renew your registration which is every single year, you need a smog check with a place which has to be in nevada. They do not accept out of state smog check certificate. We have to come to nevada every year just to renew the registration. Though you should know.
Thank you Brian for the ths beautiful video work. You have a great eye. I'm hoping and more that you find just what you're looking for in the right town that will grow the way you like it too. Nye is building new homes and businesses. May God bless and guide you while keeping you safe. 🙏✝️🛐🇺🇲
Everyone else has said it also, but I gotta add my kudos on the scenery. Absolutely stunning! Im in the Pac NW and its cold and raining. was great to get out in the desert, albeit vicariously.
The scenery along I-15 is beautiful!! A few recreation areas to stay at. Elephant arch is beautiful scenery is you have a 4wheeler. Seahorse arch is cool too. I hope to get back to that area again sometime soon. Enjoy your travels. ✌️

I've stayed there by the Virgin River a few times. Me and the dogs would hike down to the river. Happy travels
Hope you find someplace to land to get your residency. Good luck. Enjoy your video, but always do.

That river fog was awesome it was blueish

Good luck with the the red tape, safe travels. Away we go
I burnt my rye toast three mornings this week while frying eggs😆Must be the ❄️☃️Can't wait to see what you discover Brian😊
@15:00 I am a vocal proponent of buttering the bread instead of the pan when making grilled cheese! ;)
Ya do both!
The west is still so vast. We live in a beautiful country. So diversity in any direction.
Nye county, where the great Art Bell lived.
@@paull5609 I know that name well. He was also a ham radio operator, but I can’t think of his callsign
Cost to Coast was his after hours call-in radio show. A radio legend.
@ Art Bell’s Call sign was K6OBB. But since he was a broadcaster, I think he had a Radio Telephone license as well.
Love that little Joshua Tree!! ❤
I have never seen the fog on a river before. So beautiful. Thank you.
Wow, another beautiful video. Ty for sharing.
Imagine being from Teaneck New Jersey and watching that ! So epic open and beautiful and warm, haha !!!!! Thanks Brian !!!
Don't rule out finding a private rv spot on Craigslist.
Brian I camped in that very spot above the river 2 years ago. Million-dollar views of the gorge and the hills behind.
Excellent photography, I love seeing your rig in the photos for perspective. I’ve heard that a touch of mustard to the butter adds to a perfect grilled cheese.
Great relaxxing pace, glad to see you enjoying the rest. Hope you can find a place to get an address. Be Blessed🙏🙏👍👍
Good luck, Brian! And yes, camp food always tastes best. 👍😎🇨🇦
Welcome to Nevada! The Silver State. :D
I love that drive thru UT/AZ, the views are amazing! Thanks Brian!
I absolutely love camping in that area of Nevada and I bet that grilled cheese tasted amazing!!
Beautiful scenery. Great video. Good luck with the relocation. Be safe. ✌🏻🇺🇸
I lived in cedar city for about 6 months I loved it there
Brian check out the Rv campground in Amargosa Valley. It was 240 for 30 days..3years ago. Let me know if you need more info. Btw we are camping just a little ways up from you...😊
You should stay at Baker reservoir when you want to stay for a few days. It is north of St. George on hwy 18. Its quiet and not crowded at all.
Hello Brian , what a beautiful scenery! Stay safe and enjoy.

pick the rv park you want , take a pic of your set up and send it to them. they are trying to avoid the falling apart rigs yours doesn't look bad.
I've been going in person. It's really the 55 plus age thing that is the hurdle. I'm only 50!🤣
Virgin River Gorge is one of my favorite drives. ❤
Wow, that sunset with the cactus is quite beautiful.
Ck market place and individuals have RV spots on there property they rent out also good luck happy trails
Thanks for the visit!
Nice to see you warm again. Always loved the Joshua trees coming off a Grand Canyon trip on the road out from Pierce Ferry.

Wow! Brought back memories. I've driven the Virgin River Gorge so many times ( St. George to Mesquite and back). Nice vid.
Super scenery and an awesome feel of freedom 👍🏻🤙🏻🇿🇦
Beautiful, beautiful. Glad you're enjoying yourself. 🙂👍
Hope you find that RV park that is reasonably priced and let's you stay there with your rig👍
Amazing view of sun on the hills at 7:22

Try about 6 miles N of Beatty for a cheap rv spot. About 80 miles from pahrump

From your spot in Nye County you can see Mt. Whitney with binos. If not just go up canyon a bit. Morning sun makes it magnificent.
Stunning views on your drive. Absolutely beautiful. 😊

Thank you Beautiful Video Breathtaking Views ✌🏼
true that
Sundays are always good days to travel thru Vegas. Great video of your views. You cooking is always the best !!
Great video, Brian. I'd say more, but I gotta go make a grilled cheese sandwich. Good luck finding a place to stay for 30 days.
I like travelling with you. Thanks Brian.
Nice vid Brian. I so want to be down there this winter again, thanks for sharing your experiences, someone's got to do it.. peas
The fog over the river was awesome!
back in the early 70's they made that road through there. i remember being in 7th grade.
Nice video. I love the scenery. Hope you find a place to stay for a while. Be safe out there

Not in Nye County
Virgin River spot is sweet! Where do access that?
I live in Nye County. Pahrump. I have room on my property if you would like to use it for a stay to accomplish your residency.
If find yourself still needing a place to park, the offer stands. Just need a way for us to connect. Good luck.
The Arizona strip ❤ Stay safe my friend 🙏

Awesome video and trip down.
Great video, thanks for the guided tour! Good luck with getting your residency set up.
Cheers and safe travels
Another beautiful video.
I live in a skoolie Florida says you can't stay in the RV resorts with it more than a month
That Zion area is bad ass but the cold is COLD in winter
Go to Nye county. You don't have to do smog on vehicles. My sister lives in pahrump
Good luck with the 30 day site and peace out.
