This has to be the Hottest I've ever seen Gatlinburg in the 30 years I've been here. .and it's June!! 🔥
I'm walking around downtown Gatlinburg and then I'll take you to the Gatlinburg Trail in the Park 🏞️
Although I'm walking around to show you all , Please do Not do this without having plenty of water , Gatorade with electrolytes, a hat, sunscreen and patience..💦💧

I was at Dollywood on Saturday June 15th. Got there at 8 am. Had a special day for season pass holders. I rode Big Bear Mountain Roller Coaster. I was there the entire day. Saw the fireworks and drone show. Next day, has a heart attack. Transport by helicopter from Sevierville to University of Tennessee Medical Center. Had a STEMI. An acronym for ST elevation myocardial infarction. As soon as I was connected to the monitor, I knew. Chewed many aspirins and received NTG under the tongue. Excellent emergency took place post calling 911. So my vacation in TN spent in hospital. I love that area!!!!

@@TheGatlinburgHussey I am grateful to the emergency response in Tennessee. I am doing much better. I received a unique prompt experience. Looking forward to returning in August. I leave for Alaska on the 6 of July. Going on an escorted bus tour for 30 days. Want to return for fall rod run!
Hi Friend. Awesome video. Can't wait to go back up there soon. I haven't been up there since he died in 2020 and we didn't need parking tags. Where do i get a parking tag. I used to park at the aquarium. Can you still do that
You'll have to park at the garage that charges $10/ 20 ..but on river road, there's $2 per hour but you have to get there early

I do understand that. I thought you might know one that the waters are slow & wearing crocks or the like, you could walk safely. As a boy, I spent years creek walking looking for Indian artifacts , turtles, frogs, crayfish, snakes & such. Never know what you'll see or find..very comfortable in the summer heat too...but, I never got into sports either...😊
I have to do it now!!! Lol.

Did you enter Gatlinburg trail from River Road? Where is the entrance?
It's behind the Marathon Gas station as you enter the Smokies Park ...I did this purposely to see if you wonderful people were watching the whole video 🙏🏞️🌄
