I was in Gatlinburg briefly last week. Newport Utilities was going to turn off power in my area so I did some errands, had plenty of time to kill so I decided to head that way to see what the drive was like. I was only going to go to Cosby but I was enjoying the drive so I kept going into Gatlinburg but when I hit a huge line of traffic I turned around and headed back to Newport. 😄

Louder than the Fourth of July! First thing I would do is unplug what I can, went through a power surge and not fun.

I bet by now you know the best time to venture out with your car, Sean. I bet it is busy most of the year but hopefully you get some slack time off in traffic. My daughter takes all the back roads to get to work because Coastal Highway is light after light and backed up even if you have a green light. She drives 40 minutes back and forth to work each day. You know the cost of gas at the pumps. Have a great Sunday my friend. 😊

That’s a bargain compared to our prices. I remember full service, windshields cleaned, check the oil level, pump the gas and often a receiving gift stamps: Green Stamps, Plaid Stamps. Of course I was just a small kiddo 👧! lol. 😂
