Thank you. I had the same issue. I drained the water but it was just a very little amount, so I found it odd that it still continued to leak. I am thinking it is the same issue because it tends to only leak when it is hotter, so more evaporation as it is working harder. I will look into a solution for mine. Perhaps just putting a small tray under it or something instead of doing some kind of modification. Thanks again!
I have the latest DeLonghi Penguino. Brought it 3 months ago and it started leaking at bottom today. I took it apart but cannot find where leak is coming from. Pan at bottom was not full either. The condensers were sweating everywhere else though. 🤦🏽♀️ Where is the water supposed to drain into pan?
Check if your AC has faulty float switch and make sure the unit is completely leveled. Another important thing with these units is high humidity creates moisture and the drain pan fills up quickly because the drain pain is small. Another possible solution is to clean the filters, check the drain line for cracks and if the condensate pump is working properly.
Mines leaking from the bottom but the plug is in when toy tip it to drain it it comes out of the wheel holes. I took it apart and dried the inside cause lots of water in the bottom of the unit.
@@escobih23 only happens if you tip it. (I normally tip it to get the water put the back :/ so I picked up my portable AC and put it on a table then got a big bucket and tipped it back with the bucket catching from the wheel and the spot it's actually suppose to come out of. Then I had to wipe down the table lol

Should of bent it more and more but not to much to crack it
