    Mike Tyson’s life was full of tragedy. For his full life story, I suggest you read his book “The Undisputed Truth.” The dude’s life was insane! So many events were described throughout the book that had me saying “Is this shit real?!?!”
    From getting picked on in the slums of Brownsville as a kid, to being arrested over 40 times as a juvenile, and being raised by a prostitute mother, he experienced and inordinate amount of trauma at such a young age.
    He was later discovered by his mentor Cus D’Mato, who trained him to become the most dominant fighter in boxing history. Even after becoming the champion, more events led to his downfall. He was being used by so many people and went broke because of people like his ex-wife Robin Givens and Don King conning him.
    And yes, he is a convicted rapist, but he vehemently denies the conviction to this day, and I and many others believe him. He got accused by a woman that was bitter when she found out it was just a one-night stand. His trial lawyer was shit, and much evidence in support of him was excluded from the trial. He was convicted by a jury and served three years in prison. After some of the excluded came out after the trial, many jurors changed their tune and said they would’ve not convicted him if they were exposed to this evidence.
    He was also great friends with 2Pac. He met 2Pac at a club in the early 90s. They later reconnected when Pac wrote a letter to Mike while Mike was incarcerated. He later visited him in prison and they became really close. 2Pac was actually shot after he attended a Mike Tyson fight in Vegas in September 7, 1996. They were actually supposed to hang out that night, but Mike declined, as the mother of his child begged him to spend time with them.
    Mike has mellowed out and has become much humbler over the past few years. I am so glad to see it. Nowadays, he is extremely loved and respected.
    Regardless of how controversial he was during his career, he always kept it real. It’s hard to find people more honest than him, and that is extremely respectable.

    Just to clear things up, Tyson didnt bite Holyfields ear for no reason. Holyfield was a dirty boxer and the ref was not making any calls against him. In both their fights Holyfield would throw low blows and head butts. In their second fight, Tyson got fed up when Holyfield clearly tried to do another slick headbutt, so tyson bit him.

    • @fantasyboxing71
      @fantasyboxing71 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Tyson bit him to get out of the fight. He knew after a few rounds it was going to go the same way as the first one so he bit him to spare himself the embarrassment.

      @@fantasyboxing71 Bro... Watch the fight. Tyson may have been getting his ass whooped, thats debatable. Whats not debatable is Holyfield headbutting the whole time and throwing dirty shots. Tyson got frustrated at the ref not calling the dirty shots. Its pretty f*cking clear. Rewatch it.

    • @fantasyboxing71
      @fantasyboxing71 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Necksteppa77 Tyson was following through with elbows, tried to bend holyfields arm in a clinch in round two and lunged in with his own head in the first fight. Both guys were dirty fighters and resorting to biting chunks out of your opponent is as cowardly as it comes. There's no debate as to whether or not Tyson was getting his ass whopped, he was, holyfield had zero fear of him, knew how to tie him up and rough him up and was timing him and setting him up for counters. Holyfield had Tysons number.

    • @WittynotSilly

      @@fantasyboxing71 Holyfield was fighting a washed tyson... kid dynamite circa 1986 would of made holyfield taste that canvas just like his homie riddick bowe did
      And holyfield was a VERY dirty fighter that's not even worth debating

    • @fantasyboxing71
      @fantasyboxing71 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WittynotSilly Tyson was on a winning streak and had beaten notable contenders and had even won a version of the heavyweight title again. He was also only in his late 20s so he was hardly "washed". Its Typical of a Tyson fanboy to make out that he was absolutely shot as soon as Kevin Rooney left his camp therefore all of his losses and shortcomings are irrelevant. It's such a load of nonesnse, he was still very fast, had good technique and a lot of punching power so to say he was washed is a complete exaggeration and a way to rewrite history to suit your biased narrative. Yeas holyfield was dirty, I said that in my comment above, if you knew how to read you would have noticed that. Tyson was also extremely dirty, he used elbows, butts, punched after the bell, bit people, tried to break people's arms, hit low etc so let's not make poor mike out to be some innocent victim who got bullied into biting, he got a dose of his own medicine and got bullied himself and he couldn't take it so he looked for and found a quick way out of the fight because he knew he was going to get knocked out again. Holyfield would have been a very tough fight and may have beaten even the fabled "prime" Tyson from 1988, he had no fear of him and had stylistic advantages over him that he would exploit.

But when he started having too much fun, enjoying the riches, getting lazy, he lost his best boxing trainer and that's when he lost his first fight. Tyson was the best of an era. However, he was a monster back then. I don’t say this to defend his behavior back then, but hurt people usually hurt people. It took him years to realize that half the people you hate don’t know, and the other half don’t care. That being said, the only person that hatred hurts in the long run is he who possesses it. Again, not to defend his behavior, but this was far from the beginning of his story. You have to dig deeper to understand why and how one becomes what they become. Anyway, for his sake and the sake of those who depend on him I’m very pleased with his journey of enlightenment. He is in a good place mentally and spiritually and I hope he stays there.

    Mike grew up in a very dangerous environment in Brownsville Brooklyn and his father figure was a white man who took him in named Customato. Customato was a legendary boxing trainer who instilled into Tyson as a young juvenile delinquent that he would be the greatest heavy weight champion of all time. Tyson became that the youngest age ever, but Customato passed away and Mike became food for the vultures. Mike would eventually become institutionalized so this is a man who had a very screwed up head for a great deal of his life. I gotta ask. Is the point of your going into reaction videos to not know anything? Don't mean that disrespectfully just curious. If not I would recommend if you get a request for a video look up some info beforehand so you have some info to work off based off the video topic. Just trying to help out.

    There is a huge back story to Mike Tyson. It's not useful just looking at a few outbursts. There's masses of context.
