Your children are absolutely darling! I love seeing their reactions and how they sometimes look to you first. The best part was the suggestion that you might be giving them toilet water though! 😂🤣😂
M&M’s were actually inspired by UK Smarties, as Forrest Mars Jr (if I remember correctly) saw them being used in ration packs during the Spanish Civil War and was impressed by how the candy shell managed to hold back the melting of the chocolate in the Spanish heat. When he got back to the US he started to develop his own version.
8:45 Technically m&m's are just like Smarties, UK-Smarties came out a couple years before m&m's. Also Uk-Smarties came out before US-Smarties, UK - 1937, US - 1949.
I love that they are willing to taste everything and if they don't like it they just say so without the drama and move on But most of all I love that they voice their opinions independently from you They seem like nice kids good job mum and dad Oh and did you have to milk the cows afterwards hahahahahaha WoW what a speed you we're going for a world record 🤣
Curly wurly are my favorite as well. I order them from Amazon. They remind me of the old Marathon bar we had in the 70s. Love how the kids are willing to try anything, even your toilet water 😂
Penguins an essential ingredient in Guinness! Boil them and the white stuff floats to the top. As said by the great Al Murray. I do have to say pickled onion monster munch are god level crisps but a very strong flavour for small kids😂 a staple of my lunch in the 80s as a teenager.
We have the chocolate Smarties in Canada as well and we used to have a candy bar similar to the Curly Wurly called Wig-Wag. The candy that folks in the USA know as Smarties are called Rockets here. Nice to see your daughter join you and your son for this one - she is adorable.
Love them lots like Jelly Tots! Fruit Pastilles had an advert in which they told you not to chew them, you're supposed to suck them but it's impossible to not chew! Also, Smarties are not the same since they took all the bad stuff out 🤣
You know what it takes to be a loving Dad or Mom spending time with your children it’s not really too difficult. This is proof in a technological world we live in today that it’s possible by doing something as simple as trying snacks from another country.
Can't believe no one has mentioned that Smarties have Orange flavour ones mixed in with all the standard chocolate flavour which explode with flavour when you eat them all together (which came years before m&m's btw).
Ah the classic penguin bar, every British kid’s school lunchbox delight! But did your kids find the joke on the packet? That’s where the real magic lies, when you p..p..p..p..pick up a penguin!
I always had an orange club bar in my packed lunch but I remember going to my friends house & her mum had penguins & coca cola in her cupboard! When I asked my mum to buy them she said she couldn't afford them. They weren't that much more but I know she counted every penny because she had to.
Love you lots like jelly tots …😂 this was fun since I’m from UK and know them all. For the fruit pastilles the different colours have different flavours. You were sent a great selection, but I prefer the flamin hot Monster Munch!
My first comment didn't post so I'm trying again. Love the content and the kids honesty! Their faces tell you the truth on each treat. All of the older viewers will remember the "Curly Wurly" from it's original name, "Marathon Bar". It was my favorite back in the early 70s and broke my young heart when they were discontinued. A friend from the UK introduced me to the "Curly Wurly" after listening to me describe the "Marathon Bar" and they are the same! Thank you God I can order them through Amazon! Yes, they are always expired when I get them but I don't care! An OLD man has his favorite candy again!
Curly Wurly’s have always been called Curly Wurly. Marathon is what Snickers used to be called here in the UK and we used to call Starburst Opal Fruits. Though maybe you were stating that you had something similar in your country that was called a Marathon Bar, if that’s the case I apologise for for misunderstanding your comment.
@@lynnejamieson2063 Interesting. A Marathon Bar was identical to a Curly Wurly in size and design. All I know for sure is the Marathon Bar went away and now I've found the Curly Wurly. God bless the UK for having such an amazing snack still available for me to enjoy!
@@Old_Ranch_Hand Curly Wurly’s were definitely amongst my favourite sweets as a child back in the 70’s and 80’s, especially as they were one of the chocolate bars you could get for under 10p each, so you had a better chance of Mum getting you one as a sneaky treat 😊
I forgot to mention, fruit pastels when it says, can you resist the chew what it means is how long can you hold it in your mouth without chewing it… ooohhh the temptation 😂
Kinda felt like a rush, like the dad was forcing the kids onto the next one before they’d even finished what they were eating. But it was very cute and the kids were very honest!
Yes thats true, it felt like they got to be somewhere after this. I liked the video better where he and his son tasted the german snacks because he gave the child enough room to articulate his thoughts. Would be nice to see with his daughter too, if shes not still too small and would get tired of it all (thats where i could see why he did it in this faster setting)

How is that weird? He’s the older one and has also gotten comfortable being in videos. The daughter seems more reserved naturally so it makes sense that she would let her brother take the lead. 'Love you lots like Jelly Tots'
They are skips I’m from Britain I know also quavers are the best and only the monster munch is salty out of the “salty stuff”
Sometimes ignorance is bliss, even if just for a short while. Such as not knowing what a prawn is when biting into a random snack.
I've never understood why the US calls Praws Shrimp.
You didn’t read the joke on the penguin bar 😂
Smarties are not typically British. They are very common in other European countries, too.
Prawn cocktail has no prawn flavour, it’s the flavour of the sauce in a “prawn cocktail” which is tomato
He looks like you
You probably should have taken a sip of water after each product, you must of had a mish mash of flavours in your mouths lol.
Smarties have much better chocolate (and natural colours) than M&Ms
