Hi everyone, If you're looking for a way to transmit corrections from base to rover, join the beta testing of our own NTRIP Caster (caster.emlid.com/)!
If the relative position of the base station is offset to the north, will the rover's relative position also always be offset to the north with the same offset length?
Can I use averaged fix to create a network of benchmarks if say for example I need to survey an 800km road? What would the expected RMSE of each benchmark be if I averaged for 30 minutes each and they were 50km apart from each other?
Hi there! Sure, you can. If you need absolute accuracy, the first point should be averaged with corrections from the NTRIP service. Regarding RMSE, we can't predict it as it depends not only on the characteristics of our devices. Baseline affection can be calculated using the positioning specs: store.emlid.com/product/reachrs2/.
Hi Luc! Usually, the absolute accuracy should be within a few meters for the Average Single mode but it all depends on the observational quality and the averaging time. You can send us more details at support@emlid.com, so we can provide you with more information.

Thank you, Very illustrative videos. They really arouse interest in the products offered

At 03:57, what do you mean by "server station" ?
How do I get the reach units app?

Just one more note: 10 min is more than enough :)
All these have one module in common ublox f9p with bells and whistles
for emlid
try developing applications for post processing, such as leica with LGO, trimble with TBC and others, I think RTKLIB is less powerful
Hi there! Thanks for your suggestion!
Are the system supporting local coordinate? For starting base station with known coordinate.
Hi Adam, in the meantime you can enter base position in WGS84. We plan to add more CRS soon.
@@Emlid good to hear that. Can't wait. I believe the affordable system like what Emlid had to offer, will help a lot in developing countries.
@@Emlid hope in PRS also in the philippines
hi, Is an offset of 10-15m possible using the average single mode accumulating for 2min or is it to much given your knowledge of the emilid RS2 ?
