A beginner guitarist's thoughts on Yousician Premium+

- [ENG, KR AUTO SUB] I've been learning how to play guitar for a couple of months now using Yousician, and wanted to give the premium version a go.
Long story short, I loved playing songs I know, even if they were scaled back massively due to my limited playing skill. With that considered, I reckon the free version is enough a pleb like me to learn and enjoy.

Every time you start happily laughing when playing: that's the best part of learning, that feeling of "Oh, oh my god, I'm actually playing the song, this is AWESOME". I'm a beginner of about four months (and two failed starts in the past) who's learning through Rocksmith, and I still have those joyous moments every single time.

good on you pal! Looks like you're having fun. If you're happy keeping doing this remember that there's a lot of great youtube lessons. Tabs are good for learning too if you look at Ultimate Guitar although don't depend too much. Once you know your basic open chords, it's really helpful to learn songs by ear (although a frustratingly slow process at first)

@@dan.prosser yeah)) and when you get enough skills you will can improvise, do jam sessions. It will be another faery level of fun, believe me, you should continue. And doing jam in strumming is not so hard, I can do this, and composing simple songs is not so hard too, I can share with you my knowledge somehow, if you want) I love to sing in English, but I am far enough from language skills to compose poetry. If you have some poetry and can give me it I can compose song with it)

You should stick with the free version. I’ve been practicing with it for several months now, and it’s really improved my skills. I was an intermediate player before Yousician, having played for several years, but I’m probably better now than I ever was before. I think the secret is getting into a daily habit of deliberate practice.

In the past I learnt to play the guitar on my own when I was so much younger. It was so fun but it was too difficult for me.
I used Yousician on my tablet for tuning my guitar not for learning.

Thank you for this video, it gives me more arguments to tell people not to pay for it, it's just a toy, those who want to do it seriously to really have fun, will waste their time and their money , there are enough free tutorials and it is better to pay for a few lessons.

Yousician isn't bad and is fun but if you really want to get into theory you should check out Guitar tricks. The knowledge path in yousician was super disappointing. Also you should work on your alternate picking, you'll need it when songs start to speed up so better to start working on it early.

Guitar is just over time I just used TH-cam and a chord book and the app tabs which is a guitar app ultimate guitar

When I downloaded and used it it was free! Not sure of the story now; but last time I used it it was still free (with option to pay) 😊🤙

See that wouldn't work for me. I got Add and all that type stuff. So figuring out what's going on the screen is hard for me but then to figure it out and then apply to the guitar..it just doesn't work. It looks guitar hero and I sucked at that too because I had the same problem. I gave up guitar and trying to learn it years ago!! That sucks cuz I love guitar....anyways, keep trying maybe this does suit you

This is frustrating to watch, the 7 nation army song was wrong thats not a fun way to play that song and the Lincoln Park song at 5:00 the chords u struggling on where simple power chords the app should teach u about power chords cause that looked so much harder than it needed to be.
It was a very simplified version of each song, and the app has taught me about power chords, I’m just a massive beginner 🤙 thanks for watching
