This excerpt had a great comedy interchange between Al Jolson and Groucho Marx. I used to enjoy "You Bet Your Life" with Groucho Marx, first on radio and then on television. The latter program was for many years both on radio and television - a stimucast.

Marc I know this isn’t related here but did Jolson ever meet Harry James, Benny Goodman or any of the Big Bang leaders of the time?

He did record with Guy Lombardo, and I am sure he came across others on the "circuit" or in other haunts!
