    Your final free play as I saw on your ruler was about 1.25 inches, which is outside the spec in your owner's manual. Did I see that wrong? Great how-to video, though, and interesting to see Honda's wear limit indicator easily observed on the outside of the bike. Thank you.

      I think you are right, it was between 1 and 1.25 inches, which is outside of spec, and after the video when I checked it again I tightened that brake adjuster nut one turn further. Thanks for watching!

    Is this similar to a rancher brake adjustment? Since I rolled it I think I need to adjust the rear brake.

      Yes it is similar. You don't want the brake dragging, but yes if I recall it's a wing-nut adjuster on the drum with your Rancher.

    My crf125f Dosent engage and it’ll slowly slow down it would take like 50metres to fully stop

      Did you make the adjustment shown in the video?

    hello, i have a 2014 crf125fb and my rear brake barely moves and seems stiff but the rear drum ajuster is all the way loose (all the way out)? what do u think is causing this?

    • @SouthwestORV
      @SouthwestORV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm. Could the brake simply be all the way worn out? Or perhaps the mechanism has gotten rusty and stiff?

      @@SouthwestORV the brake is still good I found a solution going to ajust it forward more so I can screw on the nut all the way and then should be able to ajust from there.

      Hope it works!

    So I started changing my tires and as soon as I removed the front wheel the brake like locked uo and I can’t get the pads to separate how do I adjust the front brake?

    • @SouthwestORV
      @SouthwestORV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s odd. I do not know the answer to your question. They should not have locked up.
