we're doing this piece in my choir this year and I'm SO EXCITED. this kind of music is EXACTLY why I do choir. everything about it is so emotive and storytelling. it's fantastic and I absolutely cannot wait.
We're doing this in choir AND the audition jazz choir for solo and ensemble and in the in-class recital today on the first Pah (I sing 1st) I came in WAY too early but then I asked our teacher about it and she said everyone else was just late
When you sing at a music festival sometimes only the judges are there to hear you. It isn't like a concert. You are basically there to get feedback from the judges about how great you are. Usually these are paired with choir trips to justify taking kids on a vacation. I've done it too. Vacations are sometimes a great motivation to be in choir.
10 years later, Bonita High School Freshman Chorale learns this song for our Spring Concert with Mr. Helm once again.

I sang this song during my sophomore year in high school, and this is the best version I've found on TH-cam so far. Good job.

This was one of my favorite songs from Junior year. San Diego was so much fun.
My choir did this in an all men's version, but I love the sound of the SATB arrangement! Especially this performance!
You guys sound great! :D Wish my choir pulled this off as well as u guys did XD
I'm so excited to try out for this choir in the future! Great job!! :)
really perfetional sounding
the section with "mountains and deserts and oceans and sky" should really be conducted in four and sung in triplets... it just sounds better
YEAH BABY!!!!
I do question why there's only one person in the audience

It's a music festival. There is only one judge in the audience. I've done it before. It's fun!
