Seeing Hannah have this kind of meaningful conversation while watching Peter's season is funny. Like I don't think I have seen any meaningful conversations between Peter and his girls at all haha.
KL Duong sad part is he probably is having meaningful conversations and all that cute fluffy shit, we just aren’t seeing it because the producers are so focused on creating problems from thin air. so much focus on drama and not on peter finding the woman of his dreams and how he got to that point.. it’s true that peter has done some pot stirring and ‘rewarding drama’ but i don’t think it’s all intentional. very sweet guy i actually feel bad for him.
@cfm1181 My point is that he wants to "pray over her" which in my view is him pushing the definition of what his faith means to him upon her which I don't think anyone should ever do. Sexuality doesn't always have to be intertwined with religion and vice versa although it is for some people and that's fine. My problem was the insinuation of her needing him to "pray" over her like there was something wrong with her or she needed saving from who she is.
Aifric Ní Chléirigh he’s not pretending to be God, he loves God. He’s showing her compassion instead of losing it and getting angry and yelling at her and being petty. That’s the best thing he could have done.
A after everything he’s done leading up to that night and what he said to her, that was no compassion. i think it’s okay for him to have his beliefs and wanting to abstain from sex and wanting a partner that’s on the same page as him, it becomes a problem when he’s saying she shouldn’t be doing something and that he views it as a slip-up and would want to go home. he can respectfully leave, but he didn’t do that.. she had to ask him multiple times to leave. he tried to speak over her and balled his fists up and refused to the point she had to reveal her sex life to get him to go. that wasn’t compassion.. he viewed her as a sinner and made a twitter to tell her the same thing when the episode aired.
Adam Craig she was sending him the f*ck home, she said she didn’t want him to be her husband. so no, it was condescending and he didn’t respect her pleading with him to leave multiple times to the point he came back and twisted the situation.
He’s exhibited control issues prior to this, I’m not sure why it took this long for her to get “clarity”. He needs someone as sanctimonious as he is. Once he finds that, he’ll be happy.
Arnold Crentist I think that is issue number one...why go on this show looking for a Godly wife? It’s also not wanting to look for a standard as it’s more him pushing it onto her and him shaming her for these things that he doesn’t agree with. I know this standard should be help for marriage, but since they aren’t married, there is absolutely no reason to conform to this standard. I don’t think she’s really claiming to be one because if she did she would lie and keep him around. I’m not a fan of religion but I am in agreement that this upper fantasy creature will love you no matter if you had sex before marriage. I am all for finding someone who is compatible with you in the bedroom. Of course if you were any rational human, this wouldn’t be the main priority as it looks like she is genuinely looking for love, but it doesn’t seem like she’s just sleeping around. If you wait until marriage and it’s...underwhelming, it can really put some weight on the marriage and potentially harmful side effects that could very well lead to a divorce...it’s happened. She may be a hypocrite but Luke is just not a nice person to try and gaslight and shame her for what she has done
I’d love to see how this Neanderthal would’ve acted if a camera wasn’t around. Looking at the balled up fist after she told him she had sex was telling. He wasn’t hurt, he was ANGRY!!
In a normal relationship, hearing that the girl you're pursuing slept with another man would make any guy mad. The only mistake he made was being on the Bachelorette.
I've noticed some conflicting comments on this video, and I just want to say that regardless of who's right and who's wrong in that situation, Hannah ultimately sent Luke home because she couldn't see a future with him. Putting all religion/morals aside, she was just doing what she did to many other guys before, and it wouldn't make sense to have a guy that she doesn't like to compete to be her spouse. Hannah needs someone who makes her life whole, and if she doesn't think Luke is her missing puzzle piece, he won't fit into her life. People have different morals, and those two people just have too many conflicting beliefs to work out.
Peyton Bloom Very different morals. One believes in sticking with someone despite any flaws they may have and loving them for who they are, and the other believes in using empty threats to leave the relationship at the first sign of flaws in the other person.
When she stood up from the table, you could see his mind racing!!! He was thinking "How can I salvage this???"!! Lol!! Too late, buddy!! You already blew it!!
Problem is, as soon as he laid out his convictions, and found out she didn't have the same belief system, he should have just accepted it and walked away. As difficult as it was.
Jim Johnson The comment does connect, actually. He’s being disrespectful to Hannah and trying to dictate what she does with the other contestants of this show. If he doesn’t want her to be intimate with other guys, why did he sign up to be on a dating show where that’s literally the premise? It makes sense to assume that she’s probably getting intimate with several guys on this show. This dude is full of shit and likely has NPD. Look how angry he got when she told him to leave. Look at how he clenched his fists. Him asking to pray over her was incredibly patronizing and disrespectful. He didn’t ask her to join him in prayer. He thinks he’s God himself. This guy is just manipulative as hell and uses religion to control others. Glad he left. Also, side point, I’m sure there’s been people on this show that are actually decent, good people, and that’s awesome. But a guy who’s actually serious about Jesus or even just looking for a true, lasting relationship that leads to marriage would have enough discernment to know he probably shouldn’t go looking for it on The Bachelor.
Jim Johnson sean lowe was a born again virgin, clearly sex would not be a big topic during his season. it was also very taboo then and become so highlighted only recently which is annoying and shouldn’t be our business
Honestly I wish there were bodyguards because she shouldn’t have to feel like she has to face him on her own, at this point if he doesn’t want to leave get someone to escort him out.
Funny how she kicked him out & still got with Jed like I wanna know in what state of mind made her pick Jed over Tyler... I like peter but his personality is so plain like Hannah G
I’ve dealt with a person like this. He just wouldn’t get the hint that I wasn’t interested in the relationship anymore cause all we did was argue and it caused a lot of anxiety for me. He had absolutely zero respect. So glad we’re done for and I’m a lot more at peace now
Lauretta p: “I think this was a good reality check for Luke.” Narrator: “But it was not a good reality check for Luke at all...” lol. (See the preview for next week and the tweets on the Twitter account that he just set up)
He's reacting like this not because he has any feelings for her but because he's losing control . He's so stumped on the fact that wow there is someone that wouldn't tolerate my behavior.
She him clenching his fists AGAIN?!? Future domestic violence! He is completely judgmental! How dare Luke judge her?! ! He is as guilty as she could ever be......then had pride and holier-than-thou attitude!!
the only straight I am is a straight up bitch he doesn’t want a virgin, he wants someone who is waiting again to have sex like him. There isn’t anything wrong with that. What’s wrong is him trying to change Hannah and make her something he’s not. They just have different values
Jed totally influenced Hanna to be against Luke after that talk... why did she act all rude with Luke when all he was stating was that if she had sex with other men there he would remove himself.... HE HAS A CHOICE TOO WHEN IT COMES TO CHOOSING HIS WIFE.... no need to get upset and offended Hanna... if you feel like he was trying to shame you then maybe it’s your own guilt. Period. No need to be rude.
@Carmen Best comment, thank you absolutely true. Also, Hannah could have used that prayer, but she let her pride get in the way and that's why she refused it. What other guys praying for her? And now look what happened.
Oh, and Hannah just said all that because she wanted to feel like she was the one running the show. At least she used her southern charm by saying she "f*****" Unclassy.
Carmen Mares so much clarity for this episodes. Hannah sucked as she did the thing in 2 men. Of course not a good sign proposing to her in a week time. Those are supposedly not a casual thing specially for a woman who wants to find her husband. The show gave her all the opportunities she needed to find the best guy for her and she fucked up.
@@kimberlykeller1194 that and the common courtesy of giving him an explanation. Anytime you break a personal relationship with someone you surely owe them an explanation if nothing else

He said that he was worried she had a problem getting rid of things that are not good for her and that he didn’t want to for himself if that was true!??? WTH!? And now we see how she paid hard for not getting rid of HIM... that’s who she should have gotten rid of for NOT TRUSTING HER!
Tyler and Peter were honest. Peter had a 5 month relationship and broke it off 3 MONTHS before he left for the Bachelorette. His ex is just bitter 🤷🏻♂️
@@Digogo Word came out that Peter and his girlfriend was still together in December. Filming started in late January or early Feb. Who told you it was 3 months before? That's wrong info.
I am so impressed even though shes very ditsy she did a phenomenal job handling Luke, it made me think of a Behavioral intervention teacher handling a defiant high school student, that is how he was acting, i am an educator and coming from this background this was the most mature manner in the way she handled him, he was very controlling, berating, out of control impulsive, and a hypocrite, she did an excellent job, not letting him dominate her and talk over her and she took control and set up the boundaries and ended the relationship permanently! He should have taken a hint and let it go!
I don't agree. She "reacted" because she didn't like being corrected. And she miss quoted the scripture to her advantage, by leaving the other half of the scripture out which is "go and sin no more." How convenient to leave that part of the scripture out. Luke did make good points, as both being professing Christians. Unfortunately, he invalidated his statements by accepting her back. After he already said he wouldn't be with her for having sex outside of marriage. Was disappointing to see he didn't have a backbone to stand behind what he says.
What happened here is the 'being exclusive talk'. However guys should not bring this topic up but let her do so, and she will when/if she is ready. For a guy to bring up exclusivity will always feel controlling to her, unless she was wanting that too. It's too difficult to know when she will want that, so just let her bring it up when she wants it. A woman will want to become exclusive if you are the right man for her. She will not know that in a few dates, will take months. The guy just needs to wait and be the best man she's ever found. Even if she dates others. If a guy is dating a girl say once a week, he doesn't know if she's dating other men at the same time or not. But on this show she IS dating other guys and right in front of his face. For a guy to accept that, and become invested in her, is not easy. And the more insecure he is, the more he will act out in some immature way. It's ok to want a girlfriend be exclusive to you, but you can't demand it from her. Has to be her decision. When she told him she had sex with another, he should have left right then because she's not what he is looking for. Nothing else to say. After admitting she had sex (out of marriage) she told him, "Jesus still loves me". That's true, but that's not want Jesus would desire for her. Jesus told the sinning woman (after she was remorseful) "go and sin no more". Now Hannah is not a prostitute, granted. But we can't use Jesus' love as an excuse for any kind of sin. If you say you are a Christian, and not remorseful of your sins, you're a fake Christian. Luke wanted exclusivity for his religious beliefs but you can't demand it from a woman. It's her decision. That type guy should be dating women more likely to meet his type. He should be dating women at church maybe. Or Christian dating site. Not on a tv show like this.
Yep, he wimped out. As soon as she said he she had sex he needed to stick to his convictions and not wimp and backpedal. That's where his biggest mistake was, he can't even stick to his own convictions. He should have just left. Held on to his dignity and left.
I respectfully disagree. The wishes of both men and women are equally important. When you date someone, it is critical that you make sure you both are on the same page. A man has just as much right to bring up the exclusivity discussion as a woman does. The man can simply say," I really like you and want to date you exclusively. I really want to be your boyfriend. How do you feel?" This shows the woman what he wants, but gives her the opportunity to accept or reject the option of dating exclusively. There is nothing offensive or controlling about this. Now if the man said "I've decided that we will date exclusively," then this is a problem since the man isn't leaving this open for discussion; he made the decision for himself and the woman.
@@23magneta Sure the man can ask, and there is nothing offensive or controlling if he does. But you can see that was a really bad idea for Luke- he was asking to be exclusive even before having sex, for his religious reasons. Once he brought this up, and if she didn't agree, the dating is over for them. A man can not date a woman when he tells her he wants to be exclusive and she doesn't. If he is a man of his word and intent, the dating ends right there. That's what Luke didn't anticipate. When one partner asks to be exclusive is taking a risk that could end their dating relationship right then. If she is feeling the need to be exclusive means he is doing the right things, making her feel free to love him, or anyone she feels she should be loving. His holding back to let her decide makes it her decision, and gives her the freedom she needs to decide. She will then hint or even ask outright to be exclusive, and when the man is dating her without being needy, and doing the right things that make her feel free to love whoever, she will not feel she is losing her freedom when she asks, because he let HER come to the conclusion that becoming exclusive benefits both. And because he's been kind, generous, and loving without being needy, she knows he will want that too. Here's another problem when the man asks first. Why does he ask? Answer- he is seeking her approval that he is already the right man for her. That's not a very masculine trait. A guy asking "will you be my girlfriend?" almost always causes rejection. If that question worked, all men would ask it on the first meetup. If he is going to ask, she had best already wanted that, and again because he's done the right things, loving her in a way that makes her feel free to chose. A woman decides if, when, and how there is going to be a relationship. The man's job is to provide for her to make those decisions and move the relationship forward at her pace. But it's always her decision. So yes, the man can ask, but best only if it's clear she's 100% wanting it too.
In defense of Hanna, she couldn't have known that Jed had a girlfriend, although he admired he was there because of his career and that a big red flag. But in other hand this girls ignores ALL THE RED FLAGS in Luke and in Jed.
Eva Oliveira But Jed told her that he got on the show to boost his music career and that didn’t phase her. That was a red flag and she ignored it. Also he doesn’t look to into her as she’s into him.
@@tobiass3125 okay, maybe not all men just been with a moral compass! Because most men know if a woman has spread her legs that easy for the first dipstick that comes along she'll spread them for anybody!
It's twisted thinking in this culture that somebody would expect someone to marry them after having had sex with somebody else two nights before they asked to marry them. That's just twisted!
In the regular dating world, this is definitely not a normal expectation; having sex with one or multiple men right before marriage would immediately end a relationship. However, things are different on this show. The premise is not a secret; have 25-30 men competing for the "honor" of proposing to one woman. The finalists have the opportunity to go to the fantasy suite with the bachelorette. It's no secret that people are having sex in the fantasy suites; they are not playing monopoly. Lol. This means that if you sign up to compete on a show like this, you need to figure out a way to cope with the fact that the "love of your life" may be sleeping with multiple people even if she tells you she loves you.
Why even allow the man to come back. She gave him a 2nd chance already. He definitely doesn't deserve another one. Good job hannah. She listened and respected his morals. He cant respect her at all. True narcissist to the core.

I agree. Imagine if a woman asked this question and a man reacted the way Hanna arrogantly did? Just Imagine if the situation was flipped and a man said those words to a woman, he would have being seeing as arrogant and very insensitive. There is nothing wrong with a man DESIRING chastity with a woman whom he contemplates giving his heart to. This is exactly the problem with the current day society, they fail to see men as being sensitive. They claim they want men to be more sensitive, bit EVERY ACTION (not words but actions), are teaching men to become numb to showing any emotions. Any logical person should ask those same questions. There is nothing wrong with holding to a higher standard the person you intend to spend the rest of your life with. THAT IS NOT SLOT SHAMING, THAT IS CALLED ACCOUNTABILITY!!! A few key points: - She does not want to be held accountable for her promiscuity - Practicing abstinence does NOT require perfection. Many imperfect people are virgins or practicing abstinence. - You cannot profess to be a child of light but live your life as a child of darkness. The bible says, "what does light have with darkness" and it also says, "By their FRUITS you shall know them" - There is nothing wrong with a man DESIRING chastity with a woman whom he contemplates giving his heart to. - Hanna, having sex with different people is NOT a mistake. Remember, Christ say, Go and Sin No More. Apparently, you Not only love the sin, but you are Proud of it and talking about your fun in the windmill. - Imagine if a man said those words to a woman, he would have being seeing as insensitive... - Hanna I'm sorry, but this is not a reflection of Christ and you might clearly not be ready for marriage, most especially when it involves you fornication with multiple people.

@@Annie-ib9mr actually I am allowed to, that is what this platform is for. This does not mean because I am allowed to that they would necessarily take my advice or opinions. Besides, according to the bible, you are allowed to judge in Love "members of the fold". So, if they profess to be Christians (christ-like), by all means, I am allowed to judge but in love. I am out spoken on this because I sometimes teach teenagers and many of us are beginning to see how people hate accountability. The first time Christ came to the world, he did not come to judge or condemn. But on his glorious SECOND COMING, He is coming AS THE JUDGE AND WOULD CONDEMN PEOPLE TO HELL. It deeply hurts my heart to see we Christian's of this erra so comfortable with sin and even very proud of it. On the contrary, People not in the fold of Christianity, I cannot and will not judge them, "that is left to God". Lol, high honor? He's a wannabe Almighty narcissist who couldn't accept Hannah having differing beliefs than him. Have your beliefs, but don't shame someone else for not adhering to them. Luke was pushy and refused to take no for an answer, which is frightening for women from a man, especially if that man is as physically strong as Luke is, given how often men assault women for saying no, especially now in 2023.
3:25 he pulled out the Arthur fist 🤛🏽🤛🏽 Lmao. Okay but seriously, no one wants their love interest to f**k somebody else, right? BUT he’s on the wrong show to have an immediate issue with that. He could’ve won her over had he not been so controlling and judgmental. He knew what it was walking in there. A woman who is truly falling for a man, is not enthusiastically f**king someone else. I believe he could’ve had more with her had he not attempted to be so dogmatic about his beliefs. And it’s audacious to impose that on someone who’s not even your wife or official girlfriend at all.
Honestly I don’t blame the guy for wanting to know how many men she’s slept with if it’s getting to the point of a possible marriage proposal. Gross. I’m surprised other guys aren’t choosing to leave.
Luke was clearly the actual Christian in this relationship. Premarital sex is unholy, it was one of the only 3 things the Jews required from gentiles upon salvation.(Acts 15) Jesus may still love Hannah, but is she showing Jesus that she loves him? “He who knows my commandments and keeps them, is He who loves me” John 14:21. If you’re not a Christian your opinion is useless in this situation because that’s what the whole argument is about.
Moments like this are why I watch Bachelor - along with her search for love (possibly for the longest time having America worried she'd fall into his trap) she gave him so many chances like the good samaritan she is, he blew it, and Hannah could not have expressed the situation with his relationship any better (maybe except without saying "like" a lot, but I guess that's a habit)! As for her morality of sleeping with other guys before a date with this guy, she probably just stated that just for [stubborn] Luke to finally leave!

But he kept going, trying to turn on what he said before and now she was angry enough to see it. Love has nothing to do with how he acted and talked . Pray over you , felt more like prey over you , another i am better then you and you are bad, my god who is he ? Let him find his true self first before diving in a relationship
It's very unusual for me to respond to these things - normally not my interest, I gotta say that though I am sure that the decision hurt Luke, when he thinks about it, I believe that he will eventually conclude that she actually did him a favor! Such a relationship with these 2 could NEVER work! Too much polar opposites in personal philosophy. Luke should look for another cutie, but in a better place for him, perhaps a Christian resource, not anything like "The Bachelorette."

Adam Craig she was sending him the f*ck home, she said she didn’t want him to be her husband. so no, it was condescending and he didn’t respect her pleading with him to leave multiple times to the point he came back and twisted the situation.
“OVER” not “with” WOWWWWWW what a prick!!!!
He’s exhibited control issues prior to this, I’m not sure why it took this long for her to get “clarity”. He needs someone as sanctimonious as he is. Once he finds that, he’ll be happy.

Not a huge fan of hannah, but this is probably the one time this season that I’ve genuinely admired her as a woman
@Arnold Crentist who cares
Arnold Crentist Her ability to grow a spine and fight back against someone who is manipulative and wants her to conform to something he wants
Have you seen his facial expression when he paused. That’s scary. Definitely something wrong with upstairs.

Also Luke: i'm gonna to win a wife in a contest on tv!
Jim Johnson it does tho.
Jim Johnson sean lowe was a born again virgin, clearly sex would not be a big topic during his season. it was also very taboo then and become so highlighted only recently which is annoying and shouldn’t be our business

“I have had sex, & Jesus still loves me!” Preach Sister! 💕
This was the most well thought response I’ve seen so far.

A few key points:
- She does not want to be held accountable for her promiscuity
- Practicing abstinence does NOT require perfection. Many imperfect people are virgins or practicing abstinence.
- You cannot profess to be a child of light but live your life as a child of darkness. The bible says, "what does light have with darkness" and it also says, "By their FRUITS you shall know them"
- There is nothing wrong with a man DESIRING chastity with a woman whom he contemplates giving his heart to.

It takes lots of strength to have a strong frame. And this guys got it. I think he knows exactly what he wants but this cheap show is just the wrong place to look for a wife.
notthatnot Luke is definitely not a real Christian. That’s why he went on this show. He’s using religion to try to shame and control women. Dangerous.
I mean Jed got what he wanted
He is scary
4 times baby. lol
Jeb has nothing to offer her.?
i mean, you don't gotta be religious to feel you'd rather go home if she indeed did sleep with another guy on that show lol
but you can't ask that lol.... you either trust her or you don't.
Ditto, ditto, ditto
This guy is a freak and he could hurt someone. So she should send his ass packing! He’s very dangerous!
His Hail Mary (lol) at the end there was such BS. I’m sorry but this guy is literally a walking contraction to everything he says.
epic breakup
I bet Luke wears mix fibers and it's clear he trims the side of his head and his beard. Christian are funny the way they cherry pick what parts of the Bible to follow and what parts to disregard.
Facts !!!
@@gdesiree29 Like what the fact the bible allows the selling of daughters as sex slaves ( Exodus 21:7-11 ) .says females not a virgin at their wedding should be killed (Deuteronomy 22:13-21) while that rule does not apply to men. Or the fact the Bible says a rapist should pay her father and marry his rape victim .Deuteronomy 22:28-29.
Jammer 65 sounds like you’re picking and choosing too though lol. Read the parts where Jesus comes !! 🙏🙏
@@Nursegirlalexandra I think Mahatma Gandhi said it best. “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
*and we are created in gods image, so if you dislike us Christians you dislike our Christ.*
I see where's he's coming from. Because if you're about to get engaged and your girl had sex with someone else the night before would you still want to propose. Absolutely not.
Luke id right u shouldn't be having sex until u know which man u are picking.
I wish Peter would win but I know she picked some one else.my favorite one
I keep watching it.go girl
he just seems like a crybaby
The best thing that could happen to Luke was being sent home. He can find a nice, devout girl at church, instead of a promiscuous fake Christian (Hannah).
Sebastian Jones Uhhhhh, Luke is the fake Christian here. Look at how angry he got because she said no. Also, him asking to pray over her was him desperately trying to get control. He didn’t ask to pray with her. He wanted to pray over her, as if her decisions are so horrible that she must repent to him. This guy is a narcissist. And him asking to pray over her was the most gross, patronizing thing he could’ve said. Glad he got sent home.
Sebastian Jones And lets be honest, it’s The Bachelor. It’s not about monogamy. A true Christian would have enough discernment to know that he probably shouldn’t be looking for true love on a show like this. Luke needs Jesus and a counselor to work out his anger and control issues.
We can’t talk about sex in closer
She had a lot of maturing and growing in her faith to do.
I would be like " Chris, show Luke the way out" I'm going to bed!
I'm so happy she ends up with Jed. She doesnt deserve a man like Luke. She deserves to end up with a liar and a cheater. Maybe one day she'll realize how awful she behaved and her life will start to change for the better.
Did you just spoil the show?
Deserve a man like Luke? A controlling man? No thanks
@@dolphignition7176 I did. There's no point in watching this season anymore. She ends up with the worst guy this season and they're already broken up because he cheated on her post show.
Luck is crazy 😵
I'm disappointed in a lot of these comments praising Hannah for the way she is acting and attacking that poor guy. So here is a guy who actually wants a REAL relationship with someone and isn't there just for the sex. He doesn't give up on the relationship and puts up with all the bullshit these people put him through. Being attack for nothing by everyone in the house and never letting him defend himself. And after all that, he still wants to come back and fight for the relationship giving this woman the attention she doesn't deserve. Wtf..now I understand why some men treat us like crap because of women like her who finally gets a good guy and look how he is treated. Very disappointed in this show and with her. She isn't going to last with anyone she chooses. She is actually the one that is very controlling and gets angry when she doesn't get her way....smh
That "poor guy" treated everybody like shit in a snakish psychopathic way! Quite frankly, I'm disappointed in your comment for how BLIND you are about Hannah's choice and how fed up she is at giving this man soo many chances (even with the other guys begging her otherwise); as far as stating how many times she's had sex before meeting him, she merely stated that because he's so stubborn and she just wanted him to leave! If Luke wants a REAL relationship with someone, he needs to stop being so FAKE, CONTROLLING, and SELF-CENTERED and hopefully after this season, *_he'll start with the man in the mirror!_*
