One upside of the legendary pauper commanders is that you can play them at mixed tables - helps if, like me, you play somewhere with very few pauper players or you want to show people that it’s not necessarily going to be a dull, grindy format. That said, it is an uphill battle going up against most regular decks.
@@curiousjapan Very much agreed. I love the idea of it, but it is sometimes hard to justify when the option to “upgrade” exists. My main deck was originally a Pauper Commander list, but I ended to bringing it to more Commander tables and eventually gave it other tools to keep up. :/
