Awesome video guys!! Loved it. Sea robin is one of those underrated fish. Everyone thinks they are trash but they are a delicious mild white meat. I hope you get allergy tested Paul! I would never be able to sit there and smell all that deliciousness like you did. Great episode!!
I’ve literally never heard of anyone eating sea robin, but I also didn’t know blue fish was considered a trash fish till I was an adult, I grew up eating them.
Loved the video! I was always told the sea robins were trash fish when I was in LI. Wish I had given them a try anyway, that looked good! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
You should explain to your viewers the proper way to handle the Sea Robin because of their sharp spines that carries a small amount of poison that causes a painful reaction for 2-3 days.
Catch and cook? Are u crazy? When the feds say one striped bass a month should be the maximum. That includes all fish basically. Then I really don’t think eating any is a good idea. Unless your trying to poison someone in plain sight. Don’t get me started on lobster. You don’t wanna hear.
Great job as always. And it was a blast being part of it.
Thanks man!
