    Thank you for being for transparent. I too suffered from PCOS and as a result I had many years of pain as i struggled with fertility. After many years of trying and 7 miscarriages we did have another baby. My 27 y.o daughter was recently diagnosed with PCOS so working to educate her on it as well.

      Aw really?! Wow 7? What a journey! I'm so happy to hear that you were able to get pregnant and have another baby! Yes, you're doing right getting her educated early about PCOS. Thanks for watching!!

    I'm preparing to start IVF. Since forever my mother told me to not get pregnant. I couldn't even play with boys on the playground my mother was so strict. Go to school, get a job was her mantra. It came from the struggles my granny and grandpa had from having 13 kids & humble beginnings.
    But now in my late 30s, early 40s, I'm struggling to carry full term. Its like you do everything "right".....graduate high school and college, get the job, get married, get the home, picket fence and the dog and then, BAM! Gut punch. 👊🏽 Unexplained Infertility. 😵‍💫 It knocks the wind out of you.😵
    Now, I am left to wonder was waiting worth it? Did i take too long living my life although it seems so short? It all seems so cruel to me. Is there a right age to have kids? I guess the answer is yes and no. It depends....🤷🏽‍♀️

    Hi Angel! Glad to finally hear your story! I personally don't think people believe infertility is a bad thing, I think it's the emotions attached to not being able to do something that comes so easy to others, or considered "natural" especially when you really want to become a parent and it doesn't happen time and time again. I believe it is the same as not sharing your pregnancy in the first trimester, because this is where the higher risks of miscarriages happens. It's not something people want to share from what I have seen until they are in the clear. It's something personal and hard to share if you have been hopeful and not been successful. I'm not a mother, really wish to be and even if I don't know for sure if I suffer from infertility (over 30 yrs old) It's something I constantly worry about and don't care to share if it's not my inner circle of friends. I would rather share all details once I'm done with that chapter if that makes sense. Anyways, I'm excited to see your belly shots next video!!! I'm so happy for you!!! But it breaks my heart at the same time for myself because I want this badly! I don't want a child by any means, I want a child with my future husband and not by a baby daddy if you know what I mean...And you're my inner circle online girlfriend 😉 that's why I can share this with you!!! ❤❤❤❤

      Hey Lady! Maybe it's a southern thing, but down here it is definitely insinuating as a negative term down here. Like you're not normal. The south is always behind...But I totally get you not wanting to open up. That is totally normal as it is so sensitive. You should only do it when you're ready and on your time schedule. But I'm glad I did as it so suprising how many people then told me they were having the same issue or their relatives were. Definitely opened my eyes and made more frienships than I could've imagined. But what God has for you, is definitely for you! And you will be a mommy one day! We are claiming it!! And yep I get that whole baby daddy thing girl. But don't ever feel like you need a man to do it either. I was raised in a single parent household and I have friends (over 30) that recently went under IVF with a sperm donor because they wanted their own kid before they got too old and are loving every minute of it. But I will definitely keep you in my prayers love and pray give you the desires of your heart! So glad to be in your inner circle!!

      @@angelgrace2 hey Angel! Thank you for your prayers! I receive them!!! I'm not as confident as you are about me becoming a mom but I have hope. You might be right on how it is perceived from a country to another and/or the mentality being different from a country to another. I didn't think about that but glad to be having this conversation. I hear you about being able to do it on my own. It is an option that I have thought about, but not really one I am willing to consider as of now. I have tons of respect for single mothers and parents out there. If you can, I would love to hear more about your friends going through the ivf journey on their own. I haven't met anyone in that position yet. Thanks for always replying inner circle girlfriend!!! ❤

    • @angelgrace2
      @angelgrace2  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can get a false positive if you take it too early! Make sure to ask your nurse when you can take it without having to worry about a false positive. My nurse told me 7 days the HCG from the medication would be out my body.

      Seems like everyone of them have terrible reviews. 😕

    • @angelgrace2
      @angelgrace2  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! I totally understand. I honestly didn't go on online reviews as fertility is such a sensitive subject and not everyone is going to have a great experience if you know what I mean and may blame others. I based my opinions of FIRST IMPRESSIONS, how conformtable I was talking to then, and ike I mentioned I asked a series of questions that I put in my journal to get a better idea of their clinic. Also compared prices and hidden terms, which I also put in my journal to help others. The combination of these is what I based my decision off of and not reviews:) Because people said bad things about my clinic, but I had no issues and love them. I hope that helps!!

    I am so glad you emphasized that irregular cycles are not normal. Birth control just covers it up- once you come off, you go back to irregular cycles.
    Birth control for contraception is great, but not to regulate cycles.
    As a chiropractor I also work in an interdisciplinary setting. Our cycles are not just about periods and making babies - your cycle gives clues as to how your thyroid is functioning which we know the thyroid is responsible for energy levels, bone health, etc.
    You are absolutely correct about diet - if you want to treat PCOS naturally without side effects, a ketogenic diet is amazing! Insulin levels lower as well and you also come to a healthy weight.
    I think all women should track their cycle, regardless if they want to reproduce or not, because your cycle gives a window to understanding your overall health.

    • @angelgrace2
      @angelgrace2  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for that. Totally agree 👍. Omg I'm seeing a chiropractor now! Lol..but yep so true, it's not normal and birth control does not fix the issue. Thanks for watching!
