    Watching your videos makes me so grateful to my husband’s insurance. Our IVF journey has been covered at 90% and so far all we’ve spent out of pocket is about $1900 ($1400 cycle, $200 meds, and $300 for an additional semen collection to boost our chance). I’m sure we’ll have a few more dollars to pay but we’ll see. Emory reproductive has been amazing and United Healthcare has been great in approving our billing. Hopefully we only need one round like you did. God bless your baby! So happy for you.

    I’m in my ttc journey for baby 2, and know off the bat I cannot do IVF I simply cannot afford it. Makes me sad and feel less of a person because we cannot afford this and I refuse to put my existing family and possibly a new baby in so much debt. I know so many who have done ivf and it failed.

    • @angelgrace2
      @angelgrace2  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah you definitely have to do what's best for you. For some people, having a baby is more important than going into debt for other things like fancy cars/houses/etc so everyone's priority's is different. And many times others save for it. Everyone's story is different and I definitely wish everyone a smooth process no matter which route they take. Unfortunately, not all medical procedures are successful and that's across the board whether dealing with surgeries, cancer treatments, and the list goes on, but many times it is still worth the try if it's something you want. I pray all goes smoothly for you and wishing your family the best in your journey.

    I’m so grateful that my health insurance through my job paid just about 100 percent of our IVF costs. They cap out at 4 cycles, we only paid like 30$ for the co-pays for appointments and co-pays for the medication. Considering the total for each round $20,000 we paid just a few hundred. Did three rounds, but ended up conceiving naturally.

So we scheduled to do surgery and just had it done and everything is good to get started now as she successfully removed them all. I have really good insurance which mines is covered at 100% for any medical procedure and 80% for medication. So I would suggest for women to get insurance if they can, mu job have our insurance on a global plan and is covered globally to little to almost nothing out of my pocket with CIGNA

    Hi Angel! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INFORMATION! I have PCOS as well and we’ve been trying for about 3 years. We actually just did our consultation last month & ive recently done my sonoHSG and blood work. I’m definitely getting hit with these costs because NOTHING is covered! We found out at my next appointment in 2 weeks If either IUI or IVF aid our best chance. Honestly, I’m afraid to try IVF because of the cost. That is A LOT of money, any additional tips that you can offer that helped you guys pay for everything? Budgeting & etc?

    did you by any chance follow a keto diet before and during ivf?

    • @angelgrace2

      When I was first diasgnosed with PCOS I followed a low GI Diet. But I didn't necessarily continue after starting IVF. I stayed on Metformin and ate healthy. Hope that helps.

      Angell Moors@ There's credit cards like "Citi Bank" you can apply, and depending on your credit score you qualify for 0 APR, and depending on the credit card you apply too you have to spend so much to receive cash back from purchases made. I hope this info helps 🙏.
