OK I have to admit, at first I was thinking that this is kinda overkill. Boy was I wrong. This is the perfect finishing touch. This shows the dedication to your craft. Well done and thank you for sharing.
Glad you like it! I had a hard time finding boxes I liked and didn't want to just have plain white ones. I agree - it's a little extra work but when I do it all at once, it isn't so bad!
Thank you! There’s more info about the boxes in the video description, but I usually buy from amazon, eBay, or packagingsupplies.com depending on who is cheaper at the time. 50 boxes should run you somewhere in the $15-20 range.
How ingenious and beautiful! If I want to re-use old Amazon boxes for my own use, is there a white medium I can apply to cardboard and then proceed with your method? Thanks a bunch!
You know, I'm not sure! You might be able to paint them with some sort of paint, but then I don't think the alcohol ink would work as I'm really relying on it soaking into the cardboard to give the look I want. I bet you could paint them in some other way, though!
You know, I haven’t, as I line the inside with tissue paper when I pack my orders. I’d imagine you could still use the alcohol ink if you wanted, or maybe some other type of paint.
I know this type of ink wouldn't work on bubble mailers are they are plastic, but some other paint or dye might! I paint just my boxes, and then I put them in usually teal poly mailers just so they have a little extra protection.
You made my life easier, Thanks. Love from India
Awesome job! I got boxes of mailing envelopes from a guy moving and I will try this on shipping envelopes. Thanks!
My goodness thank you for sharing this technique
You are so welcome! Glad it was helpful!
What a fun way to dress up a plain box!
This is beyond gorgeous 😭. I’ll definitely be trying this out going forward. It’s perfect because I have paint strokes in my logo 🤍
Oh lovely! I love the watercolors in mine and wanted to carry that over to incorporate the design and branding!
Wow! Smart!

Thank you! 😊
Wow! these turned out SO cool! What size is that shipping box? I'd love to see your packaging process, like how the soaps look in these babies!
Muy lindo!!🙋🏾♀️😘
Muy hermoso
Your boxes are stunning! Where do you purchase the plain boxes? Your packaging looks gorgeous. I could not throw that box out 😉

Caprica Soapery thank you so very much❣️
Absolutely genius! What does that small black stamping say at the end?
I wonder if this could be done with basic acrylic paint! I've been thinking about it and might test it.
How ingenious and beautiful!

Great idea. Have you also considered painting the inside of the boxes a solid color instead of the brown? If so what would you use?

I really love this idea. Do you think I could do this with bubble mailers?

@@CapricaSoapery Okay, thank you. I'll have to experiment. Thanks again :)
Could you use acrylic paint? 🤔🤔🤔
Those are gorgeous. Is it ok for you if I try that out?
Yes, of course! That’s why I made a tutorial! :)
Hard to judge the size of the little cups. How many ounces of alcohol are you using per dropper full of ink? Thanks.
Porque usas tinta y no acrílico ?
