That's awesome! I did not know that. But Joe...No Shave November starts next week ;). Just messing with you man...hope to see you around town now that things are starting to open up a little
Great tip. Thank you as always. I love Studio one. If it could cook I would marry it. Speaking of marriage, here is a tip. Never get your mail order bride from Acme. Hope some of you are old enough to get it.
I'm trying to figure out how to copy a beat pattern you made then copy ant past it on a new track without it group with the previous track. now if a edit one the other track is effected. how do i get it to not do that?
Can anyone help me how to activate the track with VST via my midi controller? I did the mapping in the midi so when I press the timbre on my driver it can activate the monitor but I wanted to activate the track.
In pro Tools you can paste anywhere, on a blank piece of track or in an existing piece of track, it makes no difference and from memory Cubase is the same. But, Studio One does not allow you to paste on top of an existing track as you would if you were dropping in a snare drum let's say for a duff one, UNLESS... you use the keyboard control & V. I would suggest that's an error and needs to be rectified, there's absolutely no reason for it not to paste on an existing piece of track from your right-click. It's called workflow.

Good grief man! STUDIO ONE JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER! 😉 NO MORE TEMPLATES! 😉 Thank you for awesome tutorials, Joe! 🍀
it would be awesome if you could copy paste whole tracks to another song or session
For that you have "Import Song Data" in the "Song" menu. That will let you import tracks (audio/instrument) with fx, content, everything you want.
@@Iulian.I thanks i try it out!
