On this International Cub Cadet 782 Lawn Vintage Tractor Mower we changed out the carburetor, ignition coil, valves, valve seals, valve springs, air filter, spark plugs, rear hytran differential fluid, engine oil, spark plug wires, mower deck blades, most gaskets, breather tube, fuel lines, fuel tank bushing, fuel shutoff valve. I resurfaced heads and cleaned them up and used new grade 8 bolts and washers when installing on this International Cub Cadet 782 Lawn Vintage Tractor Mower. The rest done to this International Cub Cadet 782 Lawn Vintage Tractor Mower was repainting the majority of it, cleaning the wheels and tires, replacing a few parts like the spring on the seat, LED tail light bulbs, painting the muffler with high temp rustoleum. Overall this International Cub Cadet 782 Lawn Vintage Tractor Mower runs, the valves are a little loud, but everything checked out with the valve job in terms of tolerances on the compression stroke. Haha. It is an old tractor, so if it is running and not smoking, we are good!
On the 44C mower deck, I cleaned up and restored the inside. Then hit it with rustoleum rust metal primer and some epoxy black. Then finished it with Amsoil Heavy Duty Protectant. I greased all the fittings with Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Grease and then refinished the internals of the deck. That means I sprayed it down as I did the underside. I refinished the cover that goes over the middle section. Then put a new belt on and put the cover back on.
